In the beginning, scientists in Switzerland ponder about making a drone that can find lost hikers in hiking trails, going through the trails autonomously. Alessandro Giusti, leader of his team, are going to make this invention. According to Stevens, “In the United States alone, as many as 34 million hikers hit the trails each year. Some of those trekkers invariably get lost” (Stevens par. 2). This shows, multitudes of hikers get lost in the hiking trails every year. Hikers can become injured and need medical attention or support. Giusti and his team made this invention to make rescue missions easier, some can occupy up to 20 people at a time.
