Recommendations for Team Management
Prepare to engage in debate around ideas. Disagreements can lead to conflict, but conflict can be good. If ideas are not presented and debated, the team will miss opportunities to find the best solutions to problems. Respect for the thoughts and ideas of the other team members will be developed through healthy debate.
Learn to commit to decisions and plans of action. Team results will only come about as a result of team commitment to team decisions, this includes agreeing on the specifics of action plans. If some team members are not consistent with their commitments, the team will not succeed.
Hold one another accountable against their plans. Team members must be prepared to check among themselves to assure progress and overcome obstacles to progress. Ad hoc meetings may be necessary to coordinate actions between departments or groups to assure
Team has to agree on the methods to which conflicts can be resolved within the group, this has to be addressed as soon as possible to enhance team cohesion and progress team effort towards achieving its goals.
Team members must understand the nature of team discussion and decision making---Differences in discussion habits can paralyzed a team. All team members have an approximately model in mind for how and how long a topic should be discussed.
When priorities and goals differ or diverge from what is required of, unnecessary stress and tensions appear within the team. So cooperating and working towards the same goal is very important for the team to be successful

Communication needs to be genuinely interactive, with the team members building on each others comments and suggestions adding fresh perspective in order to move things forward. Everybody within the team needs to develop their own interactive and communication skills, they will need to know how to talk with, explain to, agree with, disagree with, listen to and convince. As humans we are dependant, independent and interdependent on others within our environment.
Logistics is a broad, far-reaching function which has a major impact on society’s standard of living. In a modern society, we have come to expect excellent logistics services, and tend to notice logistics only when there is a

Managers have to be regularly in contact with every employee under their control, so they have a basic idea on what their employees are doing.
All teams experience some type of conflict. How the team manages, that conflict needs be covered in the team charter. Beneficial conflict comes when team members have two opposing ideas. According to Winter, Neal, and Waner, "Managed appropriately, conflict can help people with different ideas analyze the various aspects of each idea and identify the best avenue or even new avenues for accomplishing a certain task." (2005, pg.68) Being able to come up with new ideas brings creativity to a team. Teams strive to come up with the best and most efficient solutions to projects and issues. The best teams come up with the best solutions.
Teamwork has become increasingly more popular in organizations. In order for teams to be successful it is important that individuals have the tools necessary to align their tasks with a shared goal. Teams must be able to provide the necessary feedback and support to continue to improve the
One of the lectures has taught me a lot of teamwork on the account of skills and propose strategies to establish the business plans. For example, when we are in the “Techniques of Teamwork” lecture, it have provided games which required cooperation. We have to use several tube to pass the crystal ball to the bowl, while tubes were inadequate, we have to move to find a complete trail for the marble to move forward, towards to end point. It seems like very simple job, but we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Once we started operating, we mess up the order, and blame each other for the fault and brought down the morale. Due to the fact that everyone want to win the game, eventually we only succeed pass one crystal ball to the bowl, and we lost the game. During the game, we concluded that we lack communication and consensus. It is believed that we were too rush and were impatient. Everybody just thought about themselves and how to be the fastest instead of the safest. People merely want to finish their job and urge to pass the marble next person. Eventually, we lost the spirit of teamwork and could bring everything together. What fascinated me of this session is that I could feel the fact that I have grown a lot – to take up responsibility and group ideas among the

Teams are now a common part of today's workforce. They are advantageous for the productivity and morale of the individual employees. Yet with all groups come conflicts. Knowing how to handle a group conflict effectively and still work together is an integral part of a successful team. This paper will take a look at what a team is and the origins of teams. It will then transition to the processes involved in creating a team and then move to advantages and disadvantages of team. Finally, this paper will discuss conflicts in a team and how to resolve them efficiently.
Conflict is inevitable and at times stimulates beneficial or creative thinking. Often conflict is a signal that people are miscommunicating and making different assumptions about what has gone unspoken. The conflict in itself is not the problem. It is the team’s reactions to it that determines the impact, thus causing it to be a negative experience. Conflict or divergence can be destructive or it can be constructive. It is up to the people involved in the conflict to manage the outcome. This gives them an opportunity to articulate their assumptions and figure out a way to come to agreement. In a learning team situation, conflict can arise when the original agreement to work together does not address
