Rosslynn is currently enrolled in the third grade at Mcnab Elementary School and maintains a “C” average. Mrs. Ziegler denied Rosslynn repeated any grade. She informed Rosslynn attended three different schools between Florida and Ohio. According to Mrs. Ziegler Rosslynn attended Mcnab Elementary in the first grade, relocated to another school in Ohio in the second grade and enrolled again into Mcnab Elementary in the third grade. When asked the reason for the changes, the mother noted due to her father being sick, she took Rosslynn with her to Ohio while she attended to her father. Mrs. Ziegler stated some of Rosslynn’s friends attend her school. The mother denied the youth has any adult friends. Rosslynn informed the examiner that she has a best friend whom she enjoys playing with. She stated she was unsure if most of her friends liked her, but opined that her best friend does. Rosslynn reported she is not currently dating. When asked about leisure activities, Rosslynn indicated she enjoys dancing and art work. There was no reported drug use or gang involvement with the youth. Additionally, the youth and her mother denied Rosslynn has ever been involved in any illegal activity. Mrs. Ziegler denied a family history of substance abuse/use. Although, per the referral on 03/27/2014 there were concerns that the mother and stepfather were using meth. They often smell like the substance and the mother appeared to have used the substance. Per the referral the mother was observed as being very pale, skinny and having rotten teeth. Notes further indicated, Mr. Ziegler has a history of drug trafficking as he has previously been arrested for the offense. Rosslynn presented as a Caucasian female who was of average stature and normal build. She appeared her stated age of nine. The youth was casually dressed and exhibited adequate grooming and hygiene. No gross abnormalities were noted in ambulation, posture, and/or coordination, nor did Rosslynn exhibit difficulties with fine or gross motor skills. The youth’s expressive speech appeared normal in rate/rhythm and tone. Rosslynn was cooperative with the examiner and the evaluation process. Rosslynn displayed no severe cognitive deficits or impediments in need of neuropsychological/neurological attention, as grossly assessed by the Mental Status Examination. She maintained appropriate eye contact throughout the interview. Rosslynn was oriented in all spheres. The youth presented with appropriate immediate and short-term memory, as she was able to recall what she had for dinner the night before the interview, and recalled three words presented to her orally. Remote memory also appeared intact, as Rosslynn was able to recall historic information when she was two year of age. No gross impairments in attention or concentration skills were noted. Joe was not attending school as he should have in the new school. The change of the curriculum in the new school was different than his old school; as a result, he would be absent from school. When it was time to turn in homework he had none to turn in due to his absences. Currently, Jaikayliah is enrolled in school full-time at Churchland Middle School. In the last three months, Jaikayliah has attended school regularly, but there has been intervention by school administration. Jaikayliah is currently failing math and physical science. She has A's in academic lab and health and physical education. She also has C's in English and US History. Jaikayliah is currently not involved in any school activities, but reports an interest in participating in track. Jaikayliah believes school is beneficial to her and her placement at Churchland Middle School is appropriate. Memory testing reveals some problems with short-term memory and amnesia for the event. Patient also was noted to have difficulty following simple and multi-step commands with a slowed comprehension speed.
R/s in October 2014, Toni Smith filed a report that her son Taylor Murphy (16) was in relationship with their 27 year old neighbor Daisey Burrell. R/s the investigation was closed with no findings due nondisclosure from Taylor. R/s Taylor was at William S Hall for in-patient treatment before receiving services from SADAC. R/s Taylor was using meth and he is now receiving drug &alcohol counseling and his drug screenings had been negative. R/s Taylor is also receiving psychotherapy education. R/s Taylor parents are acting appropriately
PER REPORTER: Curlydria is learning grown folks stuff. She is popping, danching, and opening her legs. Her mother teachers her to dance inappropriately. There are concerns that the mother hits the children in the back with her fist and pops them onthe head. They have no marks or bruises. Per reporter, mom is addicted to marijuana and she constantly smokes around the children. Mom is currently pregnant. Mom purchases drugs on the street. Drugs are not accessible to the children and the children have not been harmed hurt. Reporter stated Glenntavious loves his games. Mom allows her boyfriend to play the games while Glenntavious watches. Per reporter, mom got back pay over $1,000 for food stamps. Mom couldnt have Glenntavious a birthday party.
On July 13, 2015, I was assigned this case to follow up. This case involved Ms. Emily Marisol Ramirez a sixteen year old T.C. Williams High School student. Ms. Ramirez is currently attending summer school from 0730 hours to 1430 hours every day. I contacted the Court Services Unit and spoke to Intake Officer Darnell Norman who reported no prior interaction with the court. I called Ms. Alba Ramirez De Rodriguez (mother) and identified myself and the purpose of my call. I asked Ms. De Rodriguez if I could speak to her daughter at school the next day. I received parental permission and agreed to speak to Ms. De Rodriguez too.
The mother stated that the child is always on time to school. She indicated that he does not go to school with clothes that are unwashed. She indicated that the school has never reported concerns regarding James hygiene.
At the time of the current charges before the court, Donavan was enrolled full time at Wilson High School as an 11th grader. He attended there for two days. Prior to attending Wilson, Donavan attended New Directions Alternative School at S.H. Clarke Academy. He had been placed there from Churchland High School because of non-compliant behavior at Churchland. While at New Directions Alternative School, Donavan received several out of school suspensions for inappropriate and non-compliant behavior. In the last three months, Donavan has had five or more full-day unexcused absences, and there has been intervention by school administration. Victoria is a 15-year-old Caucasian female living with her father Scott in Allentown PA. Victoria attends Raub Middle School and is in the 8th grade. Victoria was referred by Children and Youth due to negative and runaway behaviors. Victoria was not attending school and had missed 22 out of 38 days of school. Victoria is in jeopardy of failing the 8th grade. Victoria is also engaging in negative activities in the community getting in trouble with negative peers. Victoria engages in runaway behaviors and has been known to stay out for days without any communication with her family. There are also concerns with youth using marijuana while out with her peers.
On March 1, 2016, I responded to T.C. Williams High School and spoke to Ms. Bailey as the School Resource Officers were not in school grounds. On 04/22/16, Ken'Dell came to school with a red scratch mark on his face. The reporter stated that the child isnt complaining of pain or needs any medical treatment. According to the reporter, Ken'Dell told her the scratch on his face came from running into a pole. According to the reporter, the child told he ran into a pole while chasing his baby brother, that chased a cat. The reporter stated that the children were not properly supervised and was outside the home alone. Ms. Pendleton stated there are not any prior concerns and the child's basic needs are being met. Ms. Pendelton stated her primary concern is the proper supervision.

MT arrived to CT’s home to talk to CT’s parents before he arrived home from school at Dover Behavioral Health Day Treatment in Georgetown, DE. CT’s expressed that CT refused to attend school on Monday and that his worker from VisionQuest explained to CT him attending school is a part of his mental health court regulations, therefore he needs to attend school every day unless it is a valid reason. When CT arrived home, he said school was okay and he is doing what he needs to do to get back to George Washington Carver School.
