If they chose Debit, they don’t need to sign and get a receipt. However, if they press Credit, they will need to sign a credit card slip, and then receive their own receipt.

Gift cards are quite simple; the process is almost identical to Credit Cards. When the transaction is totaled, press [CREDIT CARD], then the customer has to swipe their gift card through the stand-alone card reader and accept the charges. No signing is necessary, but they receive a receipt.

Refunds
Refunds are not to be done by anyone except for a manager, or by a person who has manager permission. In the event you need to do one with permission, here is how to do it.
-Press [REFUND]
-Scan the item you would like to refund, or key in the price
-If that is all you need to refund, press the tender type which you would like to do the refund in the form of. You can put it back onto a credit card, or you can give them cash, either way is the same.
-If you need to refund additional items, you will need to press [REFUND] each time, and then scan the items.
