The most memorable thing that I read was your perception of how the cashier was judging you when you were buying a pregnancy test. In the ending of the first paragraph, you said that cashier’s thoughts might be that you were just another black pregnant teenager. Another thing that was memorable was your experience of getting an ultrasound. The professional looked at you as a human being that is going through an uneasy situation in life, and not as a statistic. The tying in of the cashier’s thoughts and the professional treating you as a person made these events even more memorable. Your father’s injury in Uganda also stood out to me. The misdiagnosis in Uganda potentially could have changed how he lived life. Luckily, he got the right care
