I am writing in support of Cassidy Bulger and her application for consideration as a participant in the Summer Scholars Program through Baystate Health. I had the pleasure of having Cassidy as a student for three years. Additionally, I had the honor of working with Cassidy outside of the classroom as I was the Advisor of her class and Cassidy was the Vice President. I have kept in contact with Cassidy since she had graduated and I believe that I have gotten to know Cassidy as a person quite well. In this letter, I hope to highlight the qualities that I feel make Cassidy an ideal candidate and deserving of the opportunity to become a research scholar. I thoroughly enjoyed having Cassidy as a student. She is a bright young woman who is extremely
With over seven years of experience in her field at Yale Hospital and in Healthcare Insurance, her unremitting compassion and dedication to her cause persists with the role as a Community Outreach Education Coordinator at the Curtis D. Robinson Center for Health Equity.
I am writing this letter of recommendation to express my support for Keyshia Martin in her application for the Jackie Lajeunesse Scholarship Award. Thank you to the Ontario Ringette Association for organizing this rewarding opportunity for a great supporter of ringette.
I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation to give my highest recommendation for Richard Nguyen for the position of a Research Associate at Hennepin County Medical Center. As the leader of our Organization, the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS), I have had the privilege of working with Richard for over a year now. The aim of MAPS is to support the needs of scholars from underrepresented communities and prepare them for challenging careers within medicine. Richard has demonstrated exceptional leadership within the organization, and continues to amaze me with his accomplishments.
It is a pleasure to write a letter in support of Ms. Pickett’s application to medical school. I have known Ms. Sharonda Pickett since she joined Langston University in August 2008. She knew that she wanted to be a physician from the outset. However, she continued to shadow many medical professionals while working at the Blood Institute and this has only determination
Good Morning, it is with great pleasure that I write this letter of support for Orion Edwards in his application for the University of Guelph McKendry-Baker Memorial Scholarship.
I would like to extend both my deepest gratitude for Quillen’s allowing me the opportunity to learn about its medical program in a personal setting with the very amicable and knowledgeable John Riley Wilkinson as well as my humble appreciation towards being considered for a place in the Quillen College of Medicine.
Not only is she an excellent academic student, but she also brought life to the band at Ashley High School. Whoever would sit next to her would be very lucky, not just because she is an amazing saxophonist but she also has a quick wit
Jenna Frasier is a freshman at William Jewell College. Last year, she was a senior at Fort Osage High School and I believe she is the kindest Kansas Citian. I think this for many reasons. First, she volunteers! She was in Student Council, National Honor Society, and was the student body president in high school. And I have no doubt that she has continued to help others in college.
I am writing this letter to give my highest recommendation of Ms. Shari Allen for admission to the school of medicine’s physician assistant program. I have had the opportunity of working closely with Shari in my clinical practice of Pediatrics as a preceptor for the greater part of three months in 2009. During her time as a mentee, Shari has demonstrated a strong interest in becoming a future practitioner in medicine by her drive to learn basic sciences, her curiosity for medicine and her ability to learn quickly, which makes her an outstanding candidate for the program.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Natalie. She is honest, dependable, and incredibly hard-working. Beyond that, Natalie is an intellectually impressive and ambitious student who is always ready to further herself in any program. Along with her undeniable talent, Natalie has always been an absolute joy to work with.
Kathy was the first experience I had in this class And It was great one. We had the people who didn’t
To this day, this culture of service continues and is evident to me by the administration, student body, and faculty’s preventative medicine initiatives. Initiatives such as, providing medical help by encouraging students to participate in student-run free health clinics as well as providing uncompensated medical and dental care to its local community. In addition to providing help, MMC focuses on educating the community with the use of health programs, the Journal of Health Care for the Poor and Underserved, and Project C.O.P.E designed to help HIV/AIDS patients. Other initiatives that I desire to be a part of involve the use of research endeavors to help not only local communities, but also global communities such as Dr. Villalta’s research into diseases found in Latin America. Through its altruistic vision MMC has established a culture of service that has inspired many, as well as myself to accomplish great things not only in the local Nashville community, but also in the
Even though I enjoy the character of Candace, who is smart and fierce, nevertheless; I did not enjoy how she exploits and manipulates others since, I believe she would have done much better with her life if she went on to complete law school and get a decent job. I also enjoy the character of Hannah, who believe in her faith, despite all she had been through in her
Megan O'Sullivan is truly a rising star, who can really bring out the best of her character. She is full of passion, great ideas, and very easy to work with. Megan was professional and also helped make the production fun and enjoyable. She had great chemistry with the rest of the cast and took direction really well. I would highly recommend her as she is a wonderful actress and was lovely to work with! I hope to work with Megan again in the future. You won't regret casting Megan, I promise! A*****
My goal, after earning my Bachelor’s degree, is to attend medical school and become a doctor. Additionally, I want to be able to make significant contributions to the healthcare field in other ways than being just a medical doctor. Since the Minority Summer Research Program (MSRP) offers opportunities in various topics, this would give me the chance to choose a field of interest instead of being limited to just one topic. Therefore, I wish to participate in the MSRP in order to gain an opportunity to explore research in a topic of interest and to determine if I should pursue a career in research in addition to a Doctor of Medicine degree. Earning a MD/MS or MD/PhD in a particular health-related topic might enable me to make more of a difference, however small, in the health and lives of others.
