This issue is no longer a myth, hoax, or conspiracy among scientists. Climate change is very real. Climate change is a change in the statistical properties of the climate system when considered over long periods of time, regardless of cause (NASA: Evidence). The term climate change is often used to refer to anthropogenic climate change. Anthropogenic climate change is caused by human activity, one of the biggest causes of climate change (NASA: Evidence). It was found that human activities had the potential to drastically alter the climate. The term climate change replaced climatic change as the dominant term to reflect an anthropogenic cause. Certain human activities have been identified as primary causes of ongoing climate change. The term climate change has become directly related with anthropogenic global warming. Global warming refers to surface temperature increases while climate change includes global warming and everything else connected with increasing greenhouse gas levels (NASA: Evidence). Climate change refers to a change in average weather conditions, or in the time variation of weather depending on the conditions.
The current warming trend is significant because it is directly the result of human activity. It is obvious that increased levels of greenhouse gases must cause the Earth to warm in response. There are numerous amounts of evidence for rapid climate change (NASA: Evidence). There has been a global temperature rise since the late 19th century. The
Global warming is the steady heating of Earth’s land, oceans, and atmosphere caused primarily by human activity. Climate change is one of the world’s biggest challenges right now, from people actively arguing that it doesn’t exist- to other’s who don’t care enough to do anything about it. There’s evidence showing that climate change is happening and affecting our world now and from what it seems, if action isn’t taken, major consequences will soon arise. Most of the world’s land mass has experienced a 0.2-1.0 degree Celsius average temperature increase since the 1970s, the temperatures of the Artic has increased at almost twice the mean global rate. Climate change is caused by human factors such as greenhouse gases and ozone depletion and because humans are so dependent on fossil fuels in their day to day lives, the issue at hand is only going to get worse.
To understand climate change, one must understand what a climate is. A climate can be defined as “the usual weather of a [particular] place…[to] include patterns of temperature, precipitation, humidity, wind, and seasons” (State of Washington, n.d.), just to name a few. Climate differs from weather as a climate is comprised of the usual conditions of a given place (i.e. is it consistently humid, dry, wet, cool, etc.), while weather is the conditions present at a given place at any one time (i.e. it is raining, snowing, sunny, etc.). Climates are unique to individual places and generally stay the same over time, while weather can change by the day.
Gun ownership is an incredibly great burden and responsibility, and should not be taken lightly, since the slightest lapse in judgement or reasoning could result in a catastrophic event that brings about deadly consequences. Gun ownership is widely debated with regard to its place on the campus. Many assume that guns on campus will reduce the safety concerns of college students, leading to a greater sense of security. However, campus carrying will create a fearful and volatile environment and lead to an escalation in crime and violence, and creating a dangerous setting.
Based on the document, the most important factor in motion picture producers’ decision to issue the “Don’ts and Be Carefuls” memo was concern that the government would censor what they believe was not just for movies. There were many factors that led producers to talk about the “Don’ts and Be Carefuls.” Some factors were not even that serious to have discussions about, but it had to be talked about because the government would deem just about anything inappropriate and immoral. Some don’ts and be carefuls were “profanity, the nude, the illegal traffic in or actual using of drugs.” (2) The government seems like they did not want anything to influence society in a negative way, so they would try to censor movies from releasing anything negative.
been accompanied by the production of large amounts of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas that can trap heat in the Earth. Climate change is a real and occurring phenomenon and is caused primarily by human activity. Additionally, neglecting the issue could have severe repercussions on many ecosystems and environments across the world.
The UNFCC also defines climate change as “a change of climate which is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity that alters the composition of the global atmosphere and which is in addition to natural climate variability observed over time periods.”
Climate change is a fake. Many people say we have climate change, it’s because we use too much fossil fuels. We produce too much carbon dioxide or greenhouse gases. And then we have global warming. But actually, we feel the climate change or global warming it’s because human existence too short. Earth was formed around four and a half billion years ago. But human just appear only a sudden.
One if the reasons climate change (global warming) is real, is because the average temperature is rising. According to NASA “The planet’s average surface temperature has risen about 2.0 degrees Fahrenheit since the late 19th century” (“Climate”). Research has shown this is from mostly carbon dioxide, a chemical released from cars exhausts, the burning of landfills, etc (“Climate”). Most of the carbon dioxide emissions have happened in the past thirty-five years. These years

Water vapor is the biggest greenhouse gas.
It is believed that human activities are the cause of climate change. The world doesn’t have all the answers to why climate change is occurring, but there are general ideas. Evidence that the atmosphere and oceans are warming, rising sea levels and enormous declines in the amount of sea ice, glaciers and permafrost in the Arctic prove that climate change is indeed real.
Climate change is defined as any change that is happening to the earth’s climate either permanently or for a period of time. Climate changes and global warming have two factors that contribute to the ongoing fluctuations, which are anthropogenic climate change and the natural climate change (Hanania, Pomerantz, & Donev, 2017). Anthropogenic climate change is defined as the human impression on Earth's climate while natural climate changes are the natural climate cycles that have been occurring since the beginning of time (Hanania, Pomerantz, & Donev, 2017).
My group selected the painting The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh. Van Gogh painted The Starry Night in 1889 while he was a patient in a sanitorium in St.- Remy, France. Van Gogh was “an epileptic who suffered from erratic bouts of depression, came to this former abbey-turned-sanatorium in a futile attempt to ward off the disquieting shadows that haunted him in both his sleeping and waking hours and which eventually caused him to take his own life” (Billy 44-45). Van Gogh painted The Starry Night by using his memory and the view outside of his sanatorium window. I will be describing line and texture for my elements and pattern and repetition for my principles. I also will be describing iconography as my additional method.
Climate change could be described as any process that causes adjustment to climate system be it a volcanic eruption to a change in the solar activity. Today, however, the phrase is most often used as climate change caused by humans. Climate change is also used commonly with another phrase – "global warming" – reflecting scientific observations of strong warming trends over the past century or so. Indicators like rising sea levels, retreating snow cover and glaciers, longer growing seasons and shifting wildlife has alarmed scientific community unanimously agreeing that the earth has warmed in the last century. Experts however are of the opinion that climate change is a more accurate phrase than global warming as the latter is just one component affecting the larger climate systems of the earth.
Climate change is defined as “a change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels.” Climate change has happened as a cycle throughout history, with ice ages occurring, and then warming. The earth naturally warms and cools, but due to the burning of fossil fuels the rate is growing exponentially.
Climate change is one of the most underrated and controversial, yet serious environmental issues in today’s time. Despite what some may believe, there has been a vast amount of scientific evidence to support that climate change is occurring and human activity is the main source of it. Many factors (both anthropogenic and natural) contribute to climate change. However, the main cause is anthropogenic; greenhouse gas emissions. Three common practices that release greenhouse gases include the combustion of fossil fuels used in cars, methane released from landfills, and deforestation.
