Federal Election Commission that companies and Super PAC’s could donate unlimited amount of money to support candidates. The Citizens United ruling has caused increased political corruption in the United States by giving candidates the money they need to win an election while changing policies that would be beneficial to the company.

Furthermore, societies corruption involving financial gains, whether it be not paying takes or taking bribes, or committing a crime to gain money. Greed has a lot to do with this form of corruption, it’s the want, not the need of money that usually drives people to do wrong, it is about good or bad

Political things in a society are important to the civilizations survival. But, sometimes it all goes wrong. Power and corruption seem to be words that most people would say go hand in hand. Why is this, though? Does power lead to corruption or is there some other correlation? Maybe it is powerlessness that actually brings corruption. Everyone to some extent is powerless; even the highest leaders are not absolute.
