Picture your parents working in the World Trade Center that the terrorists attacked on September 11th. You and your parents were worried about one another. You discover that you do not have a cell phone or any device to contact your parents. There won’t be any chance that you and your parents could contact each other. What would you do? How would you feel? It seems to me that if cell phones were allowed in schools, students could contact their parents easier and people could stay in touch. Therefore, cell phones should be allowed to be used in schools. For one, cell phones could provide students with academic help. You should talk to your assistant principal or dean about allowing cell phones in schools, maybe you could be the one that can change their point of view and help them realize that cell phones will change the whole face of education.
