The cells are the most important thing in the body, because they are what keep us alive. They also are relatively similar to many other objects. For example, I came up with a cell being like the human body. They have many things alike some are pretty simple, but others are perplexing. The perplexing ones require more than one organ in the body. First the cell wall of a plant cell is our bones. The cell wall helps with the structure of the cell and our bones help with our structure too. Without these two we wouldn't have any structure and we would be blobs. Second the cell membrane and the human skin. Both of these prevent miscellaneous objects from entering the body/cell. For example, without skin we would die right away, because of the …show more content…
Both of these extraordinary complex objects are the control centers, so that means everything we do is because of the brain and nucleus. In the same way the nucleus and brain are alike, the cytoplasm is the one that's pretty perplexing because it requires more than one organ. The cytoplasm prevents things from moving places, because the cell is supposed to be still. The analogy for the body would be the skin and the bones, both of these organs help the body be perfectly still( not the brain really). The endoplasmic reticulum is like the blood vessels, because the blood vessels help with the transportation of nutrients. Both of the reticulum deal with helping the transportation of nutrients we need. The Golgi Apparatus and the intestine are similar to each other, these two deal with getting nutrients and sending them to places they need to be,the intestine gets the nutrients going down and helps send them to the bloodstream, and the apparatus gets the nutrients from the reticulum and sends it elsewhere. The ribosomes are like our pancreas. Both of them deal with the making of proteins to send in the body, the pancreas makes enzymes to break down food to get nutrients, and the ribosomes make proteins to make the cell
“Moving on to the Caitlin and the Cytoskeletons. They control our shape and movements. They gave us direct movement and keep us in one place when
Inside the nucleus is the nucleolus which produces ribosomes. The ribosomes then transport out of the nucleolus and to the rough endoplasmic reticulum for a process called protein synthesis. (Plant Cell Anatomy, n.d.)

The function of the Golgi apparatus is to modify, sort, and package proteins and other materials from the endoplasmic reticulum for storage in the cell or secretion outside the cell.
* Cells allow things to go in and out of the organism (allows diffusion to happen so good things go in and bad things go out)
Our bone tissues are made of a much harder substance than the cartilage, but they can be worn away by friction. They are tough on the outside, but on the inside they have a sponge-like design that helps to reduce the weight while retaining strength. They are designed to maintain the body’s structure and support the body’s movement and are used to protect weaker tissues, such as the brain, lungs and heart.
The endoplasmic reticulum and carts both transport things in a cell/zoo. In a zoo, carts transport items to and from the zoo supplier. It moves on the paths to a set location. They mark down what they deliver, what time they deliver it, and where they deliver it. In a cell, the endoplasmic reticulum transports and folds proteins carried to the golgi body.
The nucleus is like the the coach since the coach is basically the brains of the team and overall controls the team. The assistant coach which is like the cytoplasm because he makes sure everyone and everything is in order and in place. The endoplasmic reticulum is like the baseball storage since most things are kept there for later use. The
These parts are all paired to parts of cells. A quarterback is compared to a ER because it throws the whole game when he throws the ball. A cell wall is compared to the center because it protects the quarterback to throw the ball. A football field is compared to the cytoplasm because it is where all the players are at. A coach is like the nucleus because it controls the plays and tells the play. A golgi apparatus is compared to the running back because it sends the
The bone is compared to the cell wall because the cell wall gives structure support and protects the cell, which is similar to the bone because the bone also gives structure support that helps us do activities and protects our inner organs.
Support - our skeleton provides shape and support to our body which gives our body its shape, without this function our body would simply collapse.
Cells are some of the smallest organisms around. All living things consist of cells, and yet they are invisible to the naked eye. Cells are the basic structural and functional units of life. Cells are made up of many different parts which allow them to function properly.
Cells are commonly used as they are sensitive to surrounding and they can respond to all kinds of stimulants. They are more reactive as compared to organelles and are able to reproduce and make them reusable.
well understood by comparing it to a human body. The cells in a human body parallels
