The main event of The cellar is a cellar. There is this crazy guy that is named Clover and he kidnapped 4 girls because he wanted a family. His mother was so close to him because his dad cheated on his mother with a young woman so Clover was the only thing his mom had left. He wanted a family he could protect from the danger of men like his father so he kidnaps them and names them after flowers,because flowers are the most beautiful things in the world. He names them Rose,Poppy,Violet,and Lily. He keeps them all in his cellar.

Shady Hollow Country Club founded in 1925 and today has a Course Rating of 72.4. The course was designed by golf course architect Proctor Noyes Arthur Hills. The Log Cabin Republicans is an organization that helps build a more stronger union of equality, free market, individual liberty and many more . They have chosen to start this party for the sole purpose of helping to stop the intolerance towards gays and lesbians. The name Log Cabin came from President Abraham Lincoln who was born in a log cabin, so they chose to name it after him. Not only was he the inspiration for the name he was also an inspiration for the faction. The original name of the faction was “Lincoln Club” but the name was already taken by another Republican (GOP) group so they had to change it to something else. The faction was built on Abraham Lincoln's principles of Liberty and Equality.

The novel, The Cellar, by Natasha Preston, is a mysterious, suspenseful and eerie book that keeps readers guessing throughout the entire read. The story takes place in a small town in England where hardly any crime happens. Due to the overall safe feeling of the small town, Summer, the main character, does not feel unsafe when walking alone at night. She states, “Our town was probably-actually definitely-the most boring place on earth; nothing even remotely interesting ever happened” (4). However, this is how the trouble began. The basic plot begins when Summer leaves for a gig she had gotten and gets abducted by a man named Clover. He takes her back to his house and locks her in a finished Cellar with three other girl and assigns them names

The town turns quickly turns to a frenzy, when all of the younger kids start roaming the streets looking for their parents. The really young kids, between the ages of 1-9 years-old have absolutely no clue whats going on or where their parents are. Some are crying, and they are absolutely terrified.

Theodore Roethke’s poem “Root Cellar” has one stanza, and eleven lines total. Upon first reading the title, I admit that it doesn’t strike me as very original. This poem can very well be a description of the author’s cellar; a snapshot of an event being held in said cellar.

The spooky outdoor setting is made to prepare the reader for the appearance of a cozy indoors, whereas the landlady’s scary features on the inside are covered up by her warm but deceitful personality. She tricks unsuspecting young men with her generous and very motherly personality.

M. Night Shyamalan leaves us hanging with yet another thoughtfully planned movie, leaving everyone in theatres jumping out of their seats! Recently I’ve had the opportunity to watch and review “The Village” by M.Night Shyamalan. We all remember our childhood monsters, our parents always convinced us that they were not real, that they were simply a figment of our imagination, but in a small village in the middle of Covington woods it is the exact opposite… Evil lurks in the woods, but more so in The Village. Shirley Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House incorporates the idea of family into a haunted house. Hill House targets characters who have great desires and weak points.
