The document highlights the steps that organizations proving HIV testing and services must follow, upon receiving a positive HIV test results. This process includes uniting medical and social aspects of HIV care for the patient by providing referrals to partner organizations. The document also provides statistics detailing the percentage of HIV positive individuals who have been linked to care, or have been lost to follow up on state basis. 2. Finitsis DJ, Pellowski JA, Johnson BT. Text message intervention designs to promote adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART): a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials. PLoS One. 2014;9(2):e88166. A metaanalysis of 8 studies that analyze the use of text-messaging interventions on continued adherence to ART. The 10-page investigation found that study groups were more likely to remain compliant with ART compared to those in control groups who did not receive text-message correspondence. The research found that interventions that texted less frequently, but contained content tailored to the recipients’ individual needs were the more likely to be successful. 3.
