In the field of Software Engineering, students have a plethora of internships available to them. Despite having so many choices available to them, students must narrow their options to internships that will benefit them the most. Two particular Software Engineering internships that stand out among the others are Animusoft’s Software Engineering internship and Microsoft’s Explorer program. Based out of Miami, Florida, Animusoft promises students the chance to work on exciting team projects while learning about software engineering in a professional setting (Animusoft LLC). Microsoft’s Explorer program, on the other hand, is based out of Redmond, Washington and offers students the opportunity to gain experience in software development

The most thought provoking question an individual can ask you is where do you see yourself in long period of time. This question tends to evoke a great deal of wondering, for the simple fact that the average person truly does not know. However, I am not an average person and I have a sense of where I will be in the next six years. Some students participate in internships while in school to gain some practical experience (Bureau of Labor Statistics). Most employers prefer to hire computer engineers with at least 2 years of experience (Bureau of Labor Statistics). I am hoping to be an intern for Nvidia and work there for at least 2 years while in college. If not, I might look into working for AMD as an intern.

Reflect on some concepts that you heard about loving God that challenged your thinking. How will that impact your walk with Christ?

This summer internship position allows me apply my education and gain field experience by working closely with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department Crime Scene division. As an intern, I am required to shadow CSI Christine Cain in order to learn about her daily duties and the standards she is expected to uphold. I am responsible for showing up to assigned shifts, attending scenes with Cain, and returning to the office to learn how different types of evidence are properly packaged. Additionally, I observe how to complete crime scene reports and what data systems are used for filing scene information.

Internships are extraordinary opportunities to learn and grow. Internships are mostly designed to expand the depth and the breadth of the academic learning in the particular areas of the study. Internship is an opportunity to receive experience in applying all formulas, methods, theories in the classroom to specific experiences in the real world and to see how it actually works.

Endicott’s internship program I feel, will help me narrow down my fields of interest in order to choose a major. A successful internship could help me determine classes that are more applicable to my interests. I believe I can find the right kind of classes that will expand my thinking and increase my opportunities to succeed. With the variety of degrees and small class sizes I know I will get a more personable experience in and out of class. The only path I see to achieving academic success at Endicott is through hard work, dedication as well as faculty support.

Internship is a six to eight weeks working experience in any organization. The purpose behind doing an internship is to get familiar with a professional working environment. Often students do internships during there vacations so as to gain experience in their field of interest. Students studying engineering, computer science, textiles or business management; they are required to perform at least an internship so as to receive degree from their respective institutions. The purpose of writing this essay is to share my wonderful working experience as an internee at Spyglass Winery. I loved every minute of it as I discovered several new skills and came across with some interesting job opportunities. Typically, internships are professional experiences that students participate in to gain professional skills and experiences. In this particular experience at Accounting Firm X I did in fact gain substantial professional skill while participating in new and challenging experiences. Internships allow in- class material to come to life in a practical manner. My internship did do this but not in a way that I had planned.

The Internship is a film revolved around two businessmen who have hit the curb with their recent downfall in their previous company. Billy McMahon (played by Vaughn) finds a position as an intern at Google and signs his friend Nick Campbell (played by Wilson) up. Most of the movie is set at the Google headquarters, and the two businessmen are surrounded by youth (most of the age of around 21) and given instructions of the course by Mr. Roger Chetty (played by Aasif Mandvi). The interns are divided into groups, and whom, at the end of the course, only that group will be given full-time

Internships are four-six week jobs that give students the chance to see what it is like in the career world sometimes going towards the credit hours. Internships are a great way to gain work experience in the business world and to see if the career path is the one. Colleges offer internships to their students to see if the career source is the right choice for them. There are two types of internships paid and unpaid. Paid internships are learning opportunities that get paid for the work that has been done. Unpaid internships are more for an educational purpose. Internships are a great way for students to get a hands-on experience outside of the classroom environment while gaining college credits, refences to put down on their resume.

For this experience I obtained through my final year project, in which I need to design and manufacture a simple device. I may need to use some tools I had never use before such as the electric drill. That project is basically about wave energy converter. This experience broaden my knowledge about engineering as general and allows me to learn things that I cannot obtained in class such as real engineering design experience where I need to planed, drew and even manufactured my own design with the help of workshop during my final year project, while in this internship I experience firsthand how to manage and checking an ongoing project in such a huge scale and also how a team should work in big group compared to a small group of 4-5 people in class.
