To Rachel and Barney: I finished my two and a half years studies to become a certified nurse, thank God. In April I took the final national exam and passed it with success. With the help of God next week I will begin to learn my complementary studies for a degree in nursing at the Tal Institute in Jerusalem. I appreciate and very grateful for all the help and support that you have provided me during the course of my studies. Alamito Baza
The Certified Nursing Assistant course is designed to use the Nursing Process to help students grasp critical concepts in nursing so they can provide competent care for their patients. Students will be taught the theoretical and clinical component of the course and will be able to demonstrate relevant in the clinical skills upon graduation. The course prepares students to integrate cultural sensitivity in providing care for their patients and a holistic approach. Theories are combined with hands- on clinical skills. Students are required to participate in face to face classroom discussion. Class participation is essential in progressing through the course to enhance learning.
I'm doing great; I am very excited that it's the second half of the year. The exam period of the first semester went well. As I mentioned in my previous letter, the studies enriches and empower me, and I am happy for that. There are quite a few challenges during the course of the degree, but there isn't an obstacle one cannot overcome, by providing me this sponsorship you are helping and encouraging me. I would like to thank you again for your sponsorship. I wish you blessings and success in everything you do. May you be rewarded for your work.
It's Liran Pinchas. I would like to thank you very much for your generous sponsorship, and for making it possible for me to study and succeed. It is without a doubt that if it weren't for your help I would not have been able to advance in the studies and succeed as well as I am doing now.
As a classmate, I want to say thank you, for the example you and your family
"They turn casually to look at you, distracted, and get a mild distracted surprise, you're gone. Their blank look tells you that the girl they were fucking is not there anymore. You seem to have disappeared.(pg.263)" In Minot's story Lust you are play by play given the sequential events of a fifteen year old girls sex life. As portrayed by her thoughts after sex in this passage the girl is overly casual about the act of sex and years ahead of her time in her awareness of her actions. Minot's unique way of revealing to the reader the wild excursions done by this young promiscuous adolescent proves that she devalues the sacred act of sex. Furthermore, the manner in which the author illustrates to the reader these acts symbolizes the
The American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) defines “certification as a tool in the form of an exam utilized to assessment minimal clinical knowledge and skills in entry-level nurse practitioners. Individuals must meet certain eligibility requirements before considering certification” (ANCC, 2014). For example, NP students must attend an accredited degree program that incorporates core courses outlined by the certifying body. Another requirement, applicant must have a current and active nursing license. On the other hand, credentialing is awarded once clinical competency has been assessed and successfully achieved. For example, ANCC award nurse practitioners as FNP-BC for board certified (ANCC,
I am thankful for the support I received to further my education;especially
This December, I am graduating from Union University’s Master of Science in Nursing program on the Family Nurse Practitioner track. I am very excited for this new leadership opportunity in a field that I am so passionate about.
I am highly interested in attending MASH, because I want to learn first-hand the career I want to pursue. I have wanted to be an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner ever since my APRN showed me how rewarding it was to help other people by healing them and being there for them in their time of need. This program appeals to me because I am always wanting to learn as much as I can about health care and what it takes to have a health care career. I could bring a positive energy to this program with a smiling face and positive attitude. I am always willing to learn and have an open mind. Attending the lectures, participating in the hands on activities, and shadowing is exactly the opportunity I have been looking for and would be extremely grateful
I chose to write a legislature letter to the Senator Tammy Baldwin, who is representing Wisconsin in the house of senate. The topic I wanted to address in this legislative letter was the issue related to the public health nurses’ wages and their mileage reimbursement. The Explore Health Careers (2016) mentioned that the public health nurses are employed by the government agencies, nonprofit groups, community health centers, and other health organization with a goal to improve the health not just at the individual level, but also at the community level. There is a great demands of public health nurses, especially in medically underserved and low-income communities. This reflective paper will explore the significance of the issue, process of selecting stakeholders, steps after submitting the letter, and the advanced practice nurse (APN) as advocators.
I am applying to the certified nursing program. Since I was little, I have always want to be in the medical field. I grew up in a big family, where my parents were illiterate but worked really hard, and struggled a lot to send me to school, as a first generation, to get educated. The idea of helping each other has always a joy to my heart and of course to those who received the help. Thus, as I get older and older, started to explore the field the more I fall in love with it. My parents could not afford to continue to send me to college. I felt the same pain that they had. I did not stop going I continued and graduated from highschool. Over the years, we moved to Minnesota for a better place. When we got here, I decided to start working as
The liver’s complex biochemical process of detoxification is a two phase process, converting the byproducts of metabolism and toxins to render them into safer substance. Phase one, an enzymatic process, involves approximately 100 enzymes in the cytochrome P450 system. In Phase one, the chemical reaction known as biotransformation changes the toxin in to a less toxic, water-soluble substance to allow it to be safely excreted through the kidneys or colon. Enzymes do this through oxidation, the loss of electrons, or reduction, the gain of elections. Most of the time, the enzymatic reactions in Phase one decrease the toxicity of the substance, however, a more toxic intermediate substance may be produced, this is known as bioactivation.
One of the challenges posed by the IOM in its report is that nurses “practice to the full extent of their education and training” (IOM, 2010, para. 4). The transformation of the health care system, first and foremost, would only be realized if “competent professionals understand their own limitations and are able to provide safe care autonomously according to defined responsibilities, professional standards, education and qualifications” (Lau, Cross, Moss, Campbell, De Castro, & Oxley, 2013, p. 656). Studies have shown that not all organizations support practice nursing with “competency standards, a well-defined role, a career pathway, and a professional organization” (Lau, et al., 2013, p. 656). Nurses, on the other hand, as cited by Lau,
Everyone has had a moment in which he/she feels like they know everything, but the truth is that they live in a dark world. Some people live in their illusions for a long time that it is hard for them to accept the knowledge that is given to them. In “The Allegory of the Cave”, Plato illustrates this idea by stating that the prisoners in the cave have a lack of knowledge and it is hard for them to step outside their illusions to accept reality. After all, “is gaining knowledge easy for the ones that have lived in a closed world?” The truth is that when knowledge is given, it is difficult to step into the light and leave the darkness behind.
I am a nursing student. I have a great passion for caring for others. My short term goals are to graduate Riverland Community College with my Associate's Degree in Nursing this December. I plan to work very hard and prepare to take my nursing licensure exam at the beginning of next year to become licensed as a registered nurse. I will then transfer to Metropolitan State University to complete my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
