Working part-time as a Grizzfit coach, it's imperative to teach the scholars how to set realistic life goals. However, guiding them through the necessary steps to successfully achieving their goals plays a significant role. With this in mind, I'd like to share with you a few of my own life goals and aspirations.
The first goal I would like to achieve within the next year consists of me losing 40lbs. Currently, my target date for achieving this goal is October 1, 2018. Achieving this goal is important to me for the sake of wanting to improve my overall health. Losing the weight will reduce the pressure on my knee as well as improve my performance and energy as a coach. My weight loss journey will promote healthier decisions within myself and those around me.

I have a set target date for gaining my certification by Feb 3, 2018. Accomplishing the goal of becoming a certified rugby coach is essential to me for the reason that it gives me an opportunity to pass on my teachings while creating a positive change in the youth. Gaining my certification increases my chances of financial success coupled with improving my personal and professional development by expanding my network as well as the community.
Lastly, I plan to obtain my associate's degree for my third life goal. The target date for this purpose is Dec 15, 2018. This goal is vital to me, with my degree I'll be able to apply for jobs within my career field. My degree also has the potential to increase my finances as well as developing my reasoning and communication skills. Equally important I will become the first of my grandmother's six grandchildren to complete this level of my
I want to thank you all for your support of Booster Club Coaches Apperciation Dinner. Apart from my service to the BC, I also serve the program as a chaplain. One of the most important aspects of my job is to be sensitive to all aspects of our coaches lives. The first being the aspect of their home life. As a former college/pro-football player, I have personally witnessed the tremendous sacrifice and strain that the season places on coach’s marriages and families. I have watch coaches leave the game they love, in hope of saving their love ones (marriages and families).
From a young age, I held a passion for being a part of my future high school’s football team. As a fourth grade girl, I figured the only way to participate in such a way was to become a cheerleader. Attending the mini cheerleading camps filled me with excitement and anticipation of my future as a Reicher Catholic High School cheerleader. However, I later realized my lack of dedication to the sport decreased my likeness towards cheerleading. In sixth grade I spoke up about that realization to my family, who told me about the sports medicine program at Reicher. “The football trainers are considered a part of the team,” said my brother. I quickly set my mind towards becoming a Reicher football trainer of sports medicine instead, becoming absorbed
Ever since I earned my GED, I've been thinking about my and my family's future; which I know I can accomplish with my husband's support. I've come up with three long-term goals that I hope to accomplish within five years.
Rugby is a continuous game whereby two teams carry, pass, kick and ground the ball in order to score as many points as possible, with the team scoring the greater number of points being the winner.
For my 20 time project I choose to go in a direction of cheer, growing up i've wanted to be a cheer coach so I found the perfect project to coach tumbling to a younger girl, Mere that looks up to me. I want to be a role model and have a different coach approach see what works and what doesn’t. Through this I wanted to grow in tumbling techniques and what my coaches and all coaches do. I spent a good amount of time researching coach outlines and practice stuff from other coaches. Talking to coaches I know and thinking more at my own practices what they do. I found some good people that were helpful my cheer coaches and my mom who is close to many cheer coaches and me she listened to me and gave me advice.
Coaches come from many different backgrounds. Some are former players, some are students of the game, and some just want to learn a new skill. Growing up, I have had good coaches, mediocre coaches, and bad coaches. Although our team record, or my personal seasons haven’t always been up to my expectations, each of these coaches have taught me different ways to coach the game. My sport of choice is baseball. I have played for 14 years, and although an arm injury has probably ended my playing days, my love and passion for the sport is still there. When I think of “Why do I want to coach?” I think of three main reasons that attract my interest. These include, I love seeing people reach new heights through hard work, I feel I have a strong yet unorthodox
"Now girls, remember to have a smile, have sharp motions, and-- most importantly-- have fun!" The best advice I have ever received comes from my cheer coach. In the midst of practicing last minute decisions for half-time our coach would call all of us cheerleaders over in a huddle and provide us with this advice. We are always stressing about minor details that can go wrong, but then our coach reminds us of what is genuinely important-- having fun.
In 1869 Football began to form out of the sport we call Rugby. Rugby is like Football and Soccer mixed together, but at the time Football didn’t exist. In 1904 a field goal was changed from 5 points to 4 then again in 1909 it was dropped once more to 3 and it still is at 3. In 1920 most of the teams kind of just gave up leaving only 4 Championship Teams Akron, Buffalo, Canton and Decatur.
A/Side coaching is when the teacher is guiding the actor with directions during the lesson or scene.
I am a nursing student. I have a great passion for caring for others. My short term goals are to graduate Riverland Community College with my Associate's Degree in Nursing this December. I plan to work very hard and prepare to take my nursing licensure exam at the beginning of next year to become licensed as a registered nurse. I will then transfer to Metropolitan State University to complete my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Imagine it is a Friday night underneath the lights, in October, and you are walking into a stadium packed with fans cheering. But the only noise you can hear is the sound of your cleats hitting the pavement as you are marching up to the field, and the only thing you see is the other team and the end zone. It is such a stimulating feeling, it is unforgettable. Now, you may think I am talking about an American football game, but I am not. I am talking about a rugby match. Believe it or not, football derived from rugby. Differences are in rugby, there are no pads, the ball does not have laces, fifteen men to a side, and above all else, it is an international sport and it is safe compared to football. How come
The world we know of runs on and off many sports, it bring’s friendship and it bring’s enemies for the moment and for that certain event. Rugby is played throughout the world and american football is more of a local sport throughout the United States. The fans of american football are die hard fans and often will say or do anything for their team so that specific team could win. Rugby fans are more of the chilling and have a beer in their hands screaming type. The way people make friends and come together for these two sport is an unbelievable. The biggest factor of these sports is the intensity, anybody who ever played these sports know that the sport is hard work but rewarding in the end and can wear down a persons physical structure
After studying at Oxford until he was eighteen, Eric joined his brother Robert at the University of Edinburgh with the intention of studying Pure Science. Rugby and athletics played a major part in his university life. Professional coaching many benefits and you point out a good fact that it has to start with ourselves becoming the best that we can be as a coach. With coach training, it continues to advance conversational and relational skills to be able to impact others (Stolzfus, 2005). A primary benefit that a client should be getting out of coaching is transformation. When transformation occurs it comes with the long-lasting change because the client was able to learn. According to Stolzus (2005), “coaching transforms people because it zeros in at the place God is at work in the individual’s life” (p.34). Which proves that Christian beliefs can have a unique transformation. The client is receiving coaching the client is able to work on the area he
