This means you have to, as quickly as possible, get them up to the skill level required to do their jobs at least as quickly and accurately as they were doing with the old software or manual methods. Then in the next phase, you want the software to help users do their jobs more quickly, accurately, and more securely than ever before.
End user training may utilize several different methods. Computer-Based Training (CBT), Web-Based Training Systems (WBTS), Virtual Reality (VR), classroom training, quick reference guides, participant workbooks, Instructor guides, are among many forms of training delivery available.
An important element in creating your training plan is to evaluate the technical skill levels of those who will actually use the software on a daily basis. Some software, such as a new desktop operating system, may be rolled out throughout your entire organization. Some application programs may be installed only in a particular department (such as accounting software in the finance department or illustration software in the graphic design department) or only made available to employees with specific roles.
It's important to be realistic about the timeframes in which you expect to accomplish these training objectives. The timeframes will be dependent on the complexity of the new software as well as the number of users who need training and
Another factor to ensure success is to train the IT personnel on the system’s applications and processes. How well the IT personnel understand the systems is extremely relevant to the success of system implementation. The involvement of IT personnel, who have knowledge regarding the application requirements, increases the ability of the team to correctly and quickly specify the requirements. Experienced IT personnel on a team help ensure others understand terminology and have more of an understanding of the stakeholders needs (Havelka and Lee, April 25, 2002).

Having intimate experience with information technology, EFS software developers are prime candidates to fully take advantage of computer-based training. The software development industry, as is the case with many in the technology sector, is prone to rapid advancements that affect many areas, such as ongoing advancements to programming languages, development frameworks, and design patterns. Because of the cyclical nature of software paradigms, computer-based training is an excellent method of ensuring employee skill gaps are tailored to the individual, so as to customize training that fully capitalizes upon improving specific competencies, in ways the classroom settings is incapable of providing. Coupled with the ability to deliver new knowledge based upon the trainee 's schedule, this training method can satisfy demanding schedules. But, careful consideration must be placed upon the quality of the computer based training, rather than believing it a panacea. Nick van Dam, an expounds upon this concept, saying “the most important factor in the retention of knowledge is the quality of the design of learning, rather than the

I encourage you to scrutinize everything and search for errors, inconsistencies, etc. Once approved we can test the training on one site, make necessary changes , then release it to all employees.
"The times they are a’changin’" sang Bob Dylan at one of his more profound moments. Oftentimes, it is human nature to resist change no matter what the situation in which the change is taking place. However, change is a fact of life and at a time of vast improvements in the field of technology, the Information Age, if you will, it is pointless to resist it. Unfortunately, that resistance is exactly what is causing many people to see only the shortcomings of computer-based training (CBT), regardless of the enormous amount of benefits the implementation of computer-based training could bring to their companies and their employees. CBT training has a distinct role in the achievement of an organizational goal by integrating the interests of the

A training program that is well-designed is proven to achieve maximum results and meet the training needs identified during a training needs analysis. A well-executed training program will increase overall productivity and provide the knowledge, skills, and attitudes the employees need to perform successfully. This paper presents considerations for the design of a two-phase training program for existing employees – a two (2) day program, which covers the training needs to move the company in the right direction.
