Chapter Four 4. Results, Discussions and Data Interpretation 4.1 Introduction This chapter deals with the presentation and analysis of data gathered from respondents and primary sources in Gondar City. As it was proposed, questionnaires and interviews were used to collect data from the respondent’s and the secondary sources. Regarding the presentation and data analysis, graphs, tables, numbers and percentage distribution were used. 4.2 The Response Rate The total 275 respondents were given questionnaire. Women had direct participation and play major role in traditional activities like preparing tela, tage, defo dabo, daro wote more than men, hence mothers are traditionally committed to care for cooking, baking injera and bread, washing clothes and observe what the family needed and participate in traditional organizations. If the level of awareness of women in a way of living changed to modernization, it has a significant role to sustain an important traditional way of living of coping up with the modern way of living. Thus, the gender distribution of respondents affects living in the condominium traditional way of living versus modern way of being.
