Chef Charles "Charlie" Trotter “One of the most beautiful things that I can do for you – or that any one of us can do for another – is to serve each other. It’s one of the most human things. It’s one of the most basic things. But you do that from the heart. You do that because you want to connect with somebody. ‘Service, not Servitude’ is something that should never be lost.” - Charlie Trotter (1. http://www.thetrotterproject.org/about) Chef Charlie Trotter was born in September of 1959 in Wilmette Illinois, a mere five miles north of the Chicago town border. Chef Trotter spent most of his child hood in the same area and graduated from Winnetka Illinois which is only a few miles away from his home town. Yes, I know what you’re thinking. What in the hell is the Craig Sager Curse? Allow me to expand. During this years All-Star break TNT broadcaster Ernie Johnson and Hall of Famer Reggie Miller decided to pay their respects to the late Craig Sager. They did this by rallying up a few professional ballers as well as a few celebrities to take place in a new contest; The Sager Shootout. The rules were rather simple, make a 3, $10,000 gets donated to the Sager Strong foundation. One minute into the contest they were still $370,000 short of their goal. So without much resistance, Ernie Johnson called up Stephen Curry and told him one thing. Make a half court shot and we hit our goal. Easy for the 2X MVP you’d think, right? Well, that’s actually wrong.

Anthony Bourdain was born on June 25, 1956 in New York City. Son to a copy editor and music producer, he quickly learned to love literature and rock music. He has said that he was raised without religion, and that his ancestors were Catholic on his father’s side and his mother’s side they were Jewish, which definitely contributed to his later cooking styles. Graduating from Dwight-Englewood School in 1973, he then went on to Vassar college, dropping out after two years to attend the Culinary Institute of America. He then spent more than 25 years as an unknown cook in Manhattan, which caused him to fall into the city’s drug culture.
One deciding to serve their surrounding community in an attempt to better the lives of people living in that community is one of the most selfless actions one individual person can perform. Throughout my time in high school career I committed myself to serving the broader community in order to better society whether it be me serving as Co-President of Life is Delicious or raising money for Special Olympics Connecticut by doing the Penguin Plunge.
Because of passion with cooking and dream to be a chef, I have read a lot of cookbooks, regional culinary books and books about famous chefs, some of them are interesting but none of them was attracted to me the most. Normally, I just found some my favorite recipes in such books. However, “Letters to a young chef”, a book contains a collection of letters which Chef Daniel Boulud wrote to Alex Lee whom worked alongside Daniel for ten years as a passionate young cook, truly brings me desire to make my dream come true as much as help me to broaden my knowledge about culinary arts.
If i were Bobby Flay then I could teach people kitchen people and they would hopefully they would want to use them the way that they want to use Bobby Flay's. Another reason I would choose to switch places with Bobby Flay is because he doesn't have a very good reputation and if I changed it then I would be taken more seriously then Bobby Flay. Bobby Flay dropped out of highschool at 17 giving himself a rough start at life. Even Though he was able to get later schooling attending a Culinary school I would consider him

After an ambitious overseas expansion plan, his business went into total chaos, auditors from KPMG found that Ramsay company was losing millions of money. Opening ten restaurants in ten months, Ramsay admitted that his ego brings him down and it is way too fast to expand a company like
