The writings of ladies
The early 19th century was a popular period for famous literature. Memorable authors like Charlotte Brontë 's Jane Eyer and Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. These ladies were very popular during the 19th century, they receive harsh criticism for their works because of their genders. Charlotte and Mary writing both fall under the Gothic fiction genre. Charlotte Brontë's book Jane Eyer was a coming of age, mystery and a somewhat auto biography it is a super complex novel on the other hand, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein was a gothic science fiction.

Charlotte Brontë was born on April 21, 1816, in England she was known for being the author of Jane Eyer and several other novels. Brontë's mother died 5 years after Charlotte was born, her father was a Reverend, and had made Charlotte, and her sister's attend Clergy Daughter's School then attending Roe Head. Mary's mother died during childbirth, and her was a Philosopher. Mary was an only child until her father had remarried to another woman whom Mary hated deeply, and had her half-sister. She was sent away to Manor House School, and upon her visits back home, she met a man, and married him she had four children, but only one survived which is probably why she embraced the morbid themes. Mary Shelley work would be describe as a romantic, subline, and had a purpose of life to her
