My invention is a wheelchair that has a bag attached to it. When you push the button that is on the armrest, the bag automatically goes from the back of the wheelchair to the front of the wheelchair onto the person’s lap. This is helpful because if you were in a wheelchair and you needed something from your bag instead of carrying your bag on your lap you could just push a button and the bag comes to your lap. I think this would especially help Chava Willig Levy who gets around in a electric wheelchair. If her bag was able to be in the back of her wheelchair and only on her lap when she needed it Mrs.Levy would me much more comfortable. Mrs.Levy had to get around by herself, and with this invention she could make everyday tasks, like going
This was an eye-opener for us to advocate for public transportation especially the bus to be modified to accommodate persons with physical disability using a wheelchair. A lift or a ramp could be provided for easy boarding of the bus. Additional space
Julian Bilecki was just a skinny teenager when he and his family hid 23 Jews in an underground bunker, saving them from Nazi death squads in war-torn Poland. In 1943, nearly all the families of the Jewish community in Podhajce, Eastern Galicia, about 3,000 Jews, were slaughtered by the Nazis. A little group - several of them children and teenagers - escaped from the Ghetto and survived the Nazi extermination finding their way to the Bilecki farm.
Aaron Maybin and Peyton Manninng have been idealistic all through their careers. Both athletes were constantly positive and confident about one-self. Manning never surrendered, in the wake of experiencing harsh times and wounds people would think he would return unproductive. As indicated by the first article, paragraph 7, "Few expected him to return to greatness after the 2011 neck surgery.... Instead, Manning went 50-15 in Denver, won his 5th MVP and broke numerous records." Manning did not permit something little to cut him down, rather he was positive towards it and accomplished more greatness. Aaron Maybin likewise was confident and certain when he deserted the NFL. Individuals would criticize him for leaving such popularity and turn into
Twenty years ago, federal agents clashed with David Koresh's Branch Davidian community near Waco, Texas. The standoff ended with a raid and fire that killed some 80 people. It's remembered as one of the darkest chapters in American law enforcement history.
Richard Wayne Penniman was born on December 5th, 1932 in Macon Georgia. He was third of twelve children in his family. He was born to Charlie and Leva Mae Penniman into the impoverished area of the city. The Penniman family was very religious, with both Richard's father and grandfather working as preachers in the area. In fact, church is where his singing career began when his parents formed a family singing group called 'The Penniman Singers' that consisted of Richard, his parents, and his siblings. Continuing in his religion, Richard had the opportunity to experience many different types of religion and churches. His favorite was the Pentecostal church because of its fun, dancing, and music. Richard also became a 'faith healer' in the church so that he could place his hands on people, pray for them, and they claimed to feel better afterward.

In just two games, it has been easy for West Virginia football fans to fall in love with Will Grier and it’s all because he is so much more than a quarterback.
Jacob Levy’s article works to explore different areas of cultural rights and the ways in which we may change the way we do things depending on the minority culture of the community. He breaks down cultural rights into different categories: exemptions, assistance, self-government, external and internal rules, recognition/enforcement, representation, and symbolic claims. He gives certain examples about each category, with instances such as having multilingual ballots to ease the voting process for minorities (assistance) or having proper representation in the legislature process.
A good friend to George Washington, Nathanael Greene was an important general in the American Revolution that helped the American forces defeat the British. Although his battles didn't always end up in a victories had many victories which made it so we could live in a free country today.
Courage is the ability to act despite fear. This can be said in many ways, but the best example of this word is the war hero Desmond Doss. Out of all the charter traits that he fulfills, the most prevalent is courage. In the Battle of Hacksaw Ridge, Desmond Doss exemplified a selfless sense of courage, not just on the ridge, but throughout his time throughout the war. At the beginning of the war many men were being drafted due to their jobs, but Desmond Doss was not one of these people.
The wheelchair industry is currently (1992-1993) composed of three companies controlling 72% of the wheelchair market (including parts). Even though together they are a dominating force, the overall profitability of the industry is comparable to that of a not a very attractive one, with the top two players averaging a meager 5.7% Net Income and the third one (the former market leader) losing considerable money (see Exhibit A).
30 BC ~ Octavian was given the title of Imperator, and was used in the Eastern provinces. Imperium suggests unlimited imperium (or power) (Antiquity 2 Interpreting The Past) This was the first of many titles that were to be given to Octavian after his defeat of Mark Antony in 31 BC at the Battle of Actium. It indicates that the provinces thought Octavian was worthy of being honoured, and that the power he possessed at the time should remain. Therefore making it the first factor that led to the rise of Octavian.
