On the early morning of September 28, 2014 I was leaving a colleagues birthday celebration in downtown Washington DC, where I consumed a few drinks. I had two friends in the car with me to drop them off at home. I took Baltimore Washington Parkway to take one of my friends home in Cheverly Maryland. As I am driving on the parkway another car side swiped the right side of my vehicle, never stopped, and continued to drive away. The initial impact from the side swipe caused my car to spin in circles. Once my car completely stopped, it was facing the opposite direction of traffic for the Cheverly exit ramp. Instantly help was on the scene. Shortly after, my friends were taken out of the car by ambulance. An officer approached my door and
On August 27, 2015 at approximately 2154 hrs, I observed a gray 2005 Acura TL bearing NJ Reg# J61FHA was driving 69 mph on 55 mph zone on Route 1 north, made a passing on the right lane and change lane again to the middle lane. When the traffic light turned red on intersection between North Oaks Blvd and Route 1 north, I pull my patrol vehicle 558 next to the vehicle as a the vehicle was slowing for the traffic light and I observed interior light on with a driver who had his hand upon his ear and moving his mouth which made me believed that the driver was talking on his cell phone while driving. I positioned my patrol vehicle 558 behind the Acura TL, activated my overhead emergency lights and conducted motor vehicle stop.
Unit 2 was driving eastbound in the left lane of 167th St. between Orchard Ridge Ave. and Anthony Ave. in Hazel Crest, IL. Unit 2's approximate speed was 35 miles per hour. A large puddle of water had formed from a very recent rain. It covered the right lane and part of the left lane. The driver of Unit 2 noticed the puddle and proceeded to slow down to a speed of approximately 20 miles per hour. The driver of Unit 2 then noticed Unit 1 coming from behind in the right lane at a high rate of speed. Unit 1 tried to avoid the puddle without slowing down and impacted Unit 2. Unit 1 was pushed back into the right lane. Unit 2 was pushed off of the left side of the road onto the slightly raised median. The front and left side of Unit 1 was severly
The accident occurred as you were driving west on Kearney Street, at Westwood Avenue. You were responding to 4800 W. Kearney to assist two other officers with an active investigation. In that incident, officers were sent to an alarm call and arrived to find forced entry at the business. You were the closest back-up, and volunteered to respond, when the investigating officers made the discovery and asked for assistance.
Margaret Harris (W) contacted me and told me she had witnessed the collision. Margaret stated she was stopped behind Cheryl's vehicle on the eastbound Hwy 18 off ramp to West Valley Hwy S, and Krystyna's vehicle was stopped next to, to the south of, Cheryl's vehicle in the right turn only lane. Margaret said the signal turned green, Cheryl's Impreza began to make a right turn onto West Valley Hwy S, but Krystyna's Odyssey went straight ahead through the intersection instead of turning right, and the front of Krystyna's vehicle struck the passenger side of Cheryl's vehicle.
On 02-01-2017at approximately 1312 hours, a 2012 Ford Fusion being operated by Jon Molvie was eastbound on Fishhawk Blvd., at approximately 45mph, approaching the intersection of Bayberry Glen. Molvie was approximately 4 - 4.5 car lengths behind the HCSO marked squad car, when the HCSO vehicle, braked suddenly and began a U-turn. Molvie was unable to brake or take evasive action and struck the HCSO vehicle with the front of his car. The Ford Fusion came to rest within the eastbound lane of Fishhawk Blvd. facing in a southeast direction.
As I was completing my initial investigation I was returning items (driver’s licenses, registration, and insurance information) to the drivers. I approached Mitchell who was sitting in her vehicle. She appeared slumped over. I knocked on the window several times. There was no reply. I opened Mitchell’s vehicle door. She appeared unconscious. I shook her by the shoulder. She did not respond. I called for Goodwill Ambulance, who had just left with Feeney to return because I had an unresponsive person. I pulled Mitchell out of her vehicle and laid her on the street. I put a blanket that she had in her vehicle under her head. I shook her again, no response. I performed a sternum rub on Mitchell. She moved her head and asked “What’s going on?” I told her she passed out that she was in and accident. I told her to keep her eyes open and waited for Goodwill Ambulance to arrive back on scene. After the Paramedic treated Mitchell he informed me that he was unsure of her injury or what could have cause her
On 05/30/2015, at approximately 1816 hours, your affiant observed a silver Chevrolet Classic occupied by two males. The vehicle circled the block in a counterclockwise manner, repeating a portion of their route. During this time I located the owner of the vehicle utilizing a search through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The registration indicated the plate belonged to another vehicle and registered to Brittney Fisher, who was not an occupant in the vehicle. I activated my emergency lights initiating a vehicle stop in the 100 block of West Washington Street and while stopping the vehicle I observed the passenger making furtive movements towards the center console.
The driver of vehicle 1 stated that he was having neck and chest pain after the collision. I asked driver 1 several times if he want an ambulance, he refused each time I offered. Driver 1 stated that his granddaughter was on her way to transport him and his wife to the hospital. The front passenger stated that
In summary, on 03/29/16 at 1855 hours I was patrolling the area of 1200 S 54th Ave., at which time I observed a vehicle (red 07' Lexus IL Z161188) traveling northbound in the wrong lane to pass a vehicle at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle occupied with three (3) male subjects.
While on patrol, I was heading northbound on North Three Notch Street. While traveling, I observed a burgundy Chevy Tahoe traveling southbound in the northbound side of traffic, approaching my patrol vehicle. To keep from being involed in a head on collision, I pulled my patrol vehicle into the Sunoco on North Three Notch Street. I then engaged my lights and siren and attempt to catch up to the violator vehicle. The Tahoe then pulled into the Piggly Wiggly parking lot and that was the final. I then identified the driver as William Anthony Thomas. I advised Thomas that he alost hit me head on and he stated, "I'm sorry, I am too fucked up." Thomas had an strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his expelled breath. Thomas also had red glossy eyes. I then advised Thomas multiple times to step out of the vehicle to perform FST's. I noticed that Thomas had unsteady balance as he was waling to the back of the vehicle.
What I did not realize until earlier this year was that maybe for once I was actually the person in need of help. In January of 2016, while working a midnight shift as the shift supervisor, I was on a traffic stop with another officer. During the traffic stop I went to pick up an item on the ground and as I bent over to get the item, I heard that
On the 24th of April 2016, I had just left Lake Hamilton School with two of my long time friends. We had just had a ceremony, and I had accepted a metal for completing the medical professions course, both level 1 and 2, throughout my junior and senior year. We had decided to take the Sunshine way home instead of the bypass. As I was driving down a straight stretch on sunshine I began to speed. Before I realized it a cop had passed me going the opposite direction. He then turned around and proceeded to pull me over. Once he had gotten onto me for driving so carelessly and not taking what could have happened into consideration, he then proceeded to tell me he was going to tow my car for such actions and asked if I had anything he needed to know

On June 1st, 2015 I was caught speeding on the I-15 South in the carpool lane at 84 mph in a 65 mph zone. First, I went around a truck to pass. When I tried passing the truck, the driver in the truck sped up to meet my speed so I could not pass. So then I decided to slow down to get behind him, but he then slowed down with my speed so I could not get behind him. I kept doing this a couple of times so I could get out of the driver's way. The driver deliberately kept weaving into my lane where I almost hit the guardrail a couple of times. I felt like the driver put my life and my mother's life at risk for his immature behavior. For about a minute into this conflict I decided to floor it so I could get around and get out of harm’s way. The driver
On the 19th of January 2015 on a Monday morning I was driving on Bord de leau in Laval, there was a garbage truck in front of my vehicle that stopped with its flasher on. To my knowledge, it was indicating that I could pass it. My mom was with me and I asked her if it was ok and she said yes. The minute I passed the garbage truck I heard the siren and then saw the officer indicating that I pull over to which I did and asked the officer what was wrong and he replied that I did not make my stop sign that was in front of the garbage truck. I was shocked because I did not even see the stop sign because
