In the book “The Making of a Leader” Clinton discusses what it means to be a leader. He gives us the formula of what it takes to become a leader. Clinton does a wonderful job at revealing the process, and the cost of what it means to be a leader. He makes it very clear, throughout the book that effective ministry flows from who we are and not just what we do.
The mission of ministry should be “that we exist to know Christ, and to make Christ known.” This primarily is accomplished and becomes reality through creating healthy churches that also plant new churches and revitalize existing churches. As the Apostles were united together in ministry, so should God’s people be united in one purpose, vision, and mission! I believe in the essential function of Ministry Action Teams in the church, given that, a key element is found in the word “action.” The church exists so that something might be accomplished.
Give examples of how the practice of ministry has affected your experience and understanding of:
This essay will analyze, and reflect, upon the incarnational ministry which is the model of ministry that Jesus Christ engaged in when he came to earth and" the Word became fresh and dwelt among us (John1:14)." Jesus participated
In Student Ministry for the 21st Century, Bo Boshers urges his readers to reevaluate, minister, structure, and program with a purpose in order to reach the lost as well as develop and send out the church. Boshers first encourages readers to reevaluate their purpose. The first manner by which he suggests reevaluating one’s purpose is by leading with authenticity and remaining “REAL with Christ” (19). The acronym stands for “Recognize your fatal flaws,” “Experience God daily,” “Adjust your gauges,” and “Learn discipline.” Boshers claims that unless a leader is authentic, he or she will not be able to effectively minister to others.
They require the back-up of members of the church; it is, therefore, a necessity that whoever is called to accomplish a certain task in the ministry should adhere to it so that everyone has the role to play. It requires prayers and nurturing of talents such as singing. The church should hence be equipped with instruments so and youths be trained in their operations such that pastoral ministry and other young ministries in a church are brought together through various functions to do missions.

I purpose to give freely of myself concerning truthful commitment among fellow colleagues. I will operate only in my area of competency involving ministry. Isaiah 58: 6-8, is referred to by John Hayes as being “an anthem for those who are sub-merged in incarnational ministry” (pg. 142), because of its explicit call to help and to serve the poor, is at the heart of what incarnational ministry should resemble. At Inner-CHANGE, Hayes lists his model as: understanding the nature of the work, attending to the preparation, building community, committing to the process, and creating new strategies, expressing faith and expressing love to the people you serve.

Relational. The ministry of Jesus was focused on people and meeting their needs. Spending time with others, both individually and through corporate gatherings, is modeled throughout the Bible. Fellowship with other believers in small groups allows individuals to forge relationships and develop accountability at some level. These deeper bonds demonstrate to others their love for God and others by loving God’s Law, obeying it by God’s grace, and allowing it to lead to Jesus Christ for transformation into His image.
