Since the birth of the Americas, many diverse cultures from all around the world have assembled to North America with expectations of making a good life for themselves. Many came from the west, such as from Ireland and England, as well as a large amount came from the east. Most of these eastern immigrants hailed from my homeland of China. My name is Cho Lee Meng. I would like to consider myself an honorable man from humble beginnings. I grew up in China and studied in the Americas; today I am the owner of one of the largest factories in Beijing. My factory is responsible for the world’s metallurgy such as aluminum, copper, and steel products (global sources). I am very happily married to my wonderful wife Bik and we have two very bright children, Tao and Mei.
What I eat every day may seem different from what people in America may eat. Since China is a land steeped with tradition, it is not uncommon for me to have Dim Sum which is a sweet dumpling that can be filled with meat, tofu, rice, vegetables, and so much more. For lunch I may have a bowl of noodles or Baozi which is stuffed with ground pork or any other meat or vegetable (Citation needed).

The park dates from the Ming dynasty and its design is based on the principles of fengshui, with the hill to protect the Forbidden City from chilling northern winds. This park is home to the Forbidden City. While in Beijing there are many things to experience during the night time. On occasion we visit a Peking opera. It’s not as boring as you may think. Over the years it has become more and more popular for locals and tourists alike. This is because the opera now has a combination of acrobatics, singing, and stylized acting (sky scanner). We try to vacation as much as we can since most of my time is spent at the factory making sure things are running smoothly. While on vacation we travel outside of China and will visit America, Australia, or

The murder of Hae Min Lee was a mind twisting case. When listening to the podcast, you are left to wonder about who is guilty and who is innocent. With all of the evidence in this case, I am left to believe Adnan Syed is innocent. There are many facts that lead people to believe that he is guilty. However, some of the evidence doesn’t line up. Adnan has an alibi, the crime doesn’t fit the time frame that he had, and Jay had inconsistencies in his stories about Adnan, so the question is was he actually telling the truth. Adnan doesn’t remember very much about the day of Hae’s murder, and if he actually did commit the crime, you would remember that day perfectly.
Is adnan syed the killer of the 1999 murder of Hae Min Lee? Hae Min Lee was killed one afternoon after school and her body was left in leakin park. Adnan and Hae just broke up so he would be an easy suspect because he would know her schedule best and he would know how to hide it. Her body was left in Leakin park Mr.S found her body a while after being missing for a week and called 911 . I feel Adnan Syed is innocent in all of the cases against Adnan there is a missing piece to all of the stories. First The motive was too easy they thought so they broke up that could be the reason why he killed her because he was so full of rage and sadness. This motive seems as though he had no other reason for killing her, it is just that two unfortunate events happened so close the motive seems

Out of all the significant people who pushed and maintained unification in China, Zhao Zheng spearheaded this unification. Secondly, the ingredients in Chinese and American food are different. Chinese cuisine involves rice, flour, beans, and vegetables. American cuisine is relatively simple and mainly includes meat, bread and vegetables. For the Chinese one, most dishes include rice, because it is the main crop of many Asian countries and is used in almost every capacity. Not only steamed rice, but rice paper and noodles can be included in a meal. Second, tofu is often used in vegetarian meals, because it is high in protein. It is used heavily in regions with a tradition of Buddhism. Third, sauces are important to flavor rice and stir-fry. Soy sauce, oyster sauce, black bean sauce, and fish sauces are easy to keep on hand (Yang 3). Rice is a major staple food for
As a Christian, we are compelled to speak the word of God and to spread the good news. Would you speak the word and the good news of God if doing so was against the law? Would you trust that God would keep you safe? What if you were thrown in jail, would you still continue to serve God and do as He commands? Xiqiu Fu, also known as Bob, served God and did as He commanded throughout even though it was against the law. Bob lived in China, where Communism runs wild. Being a Christian in China was very dangerous, but Bob was involved in underground churches, illegally printing Bibles, and holding Christian schooling. The law eventually caught up with Bob and he was thrown into jail. While in jail, Bob never once doubted God. Every situation that was handed to Bob, he used it as a way to serve God or to spread his good news.

China offers a variety of options for a person interested in trying different foods from street vendors. In the video a street vendor made sesame crackers. In the video a woman lays out a mixture and then uses a tool to flatten and smooth it. She then uses a cleaver to cut the crackers into small squares. It is considered to be a popular Chinese fast food. Another meal that looked really good was Jian Bing. Jian Bing is a breakfast dish. In the video the woman first prepared what looked like a tortilla then cracked an egg and spread it over the crepe. She then sprinkled what looked like lettuce and tomatoes on it the tortilla. When I first saw how it turned out it reminded me of an omelet. The breakfast crepe is popular in Bejing. Something
On a daily basis we eat a variety of foods cooked in many fashions. For our meat dishes, we sometimes, fry, bake, braise, steam, roast, or boil them and it contains any of the following: chicken, fish, pork, or beef. Of course we consume a lot of rice with our meals, some of which are stir fry dishes that contain meat, vegetables, and rice. In addition our Chinese culture has several different soups as well. We are creative with our meals based on the vegetables, meats, and rice that we produce ourselves. Occasionally we will venture out to the local markets to purchase other types of food for a little more variety, when we have the extra money or additional goods of our own for trade. Local markets can be found all over the streets of China in every area and consist of items such as vegetables, meats, fish, sweets, and even everyday items such as silk, tea, jade, porcelain, household items, etc.
Chinese is one of the oldest cultures in the world. The Xia dynasty is known as the first to rule the entire China in 2070 BC. Therefore, along with the time, there have been many changes in the history of Chinese cuisine. Dim Sum is related with the term “yum cha”, which means “to drink tea”. This is started at around hundreds years ago, in Canton (Guangdong Province), when the travellers on the ancient Silk Road took some rest in the middle of their journey, and they usually had some tea and meals. However, it is said that people could gain excessive weight by consuming food while drinking tea. Then the idea to serve some snacks or small-bites food was created by the teahouse owner, and that was the beginning of dim sum.
