The scene that was most different between the play and the movie of Romeo and Juliet was how the two crossed lovers first met each other. In the play Romeo and the Montague boys find out about the Capulet party through a poor peasant who could not read the invitations. While in the movie the Capulet party is announced through a newscast over T.V. I think the director changed this so the invite can go more along with the time period of the movie. This could change how the viewers see it by making the invite less secret. Over a newscast anyone who was paying attention to the T.V. could of heard the invite. Another main difference in this scene would be Romeo and Juliet first seeing each other in the bathroom across a fish tank rather than across the ballroom in the play. This could take away from the romantic side of the two first seeing each other. In the play it seems Romeo and Juliet have more privacy when they first speak to each other. In the movie the two are getting on and off an elevator just not to be seen. This could add more suspense to the scene and make the viewers see the movie from a lofty viewpoint.
ROMEO & JULIET Gives the poison to Juliet Friar Lawrence: Here, this will make you sleep for 42 hours and make you appear dead. Juliet: i shall drink think when i get home and not marry Paris. Friar: I shall get the message to Romeo go along. Juliet leaves Lawrence's cell. Juliet: Nurse I do not
The play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is about the dilemma of choosing love over loyalty for your family. In the story Romeo and Juliet come from separate families who hate each other, but still find love in each other. They get married without telling their families and eventually
The song “Michelle” by the Beatles and the story of Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare both assist the notion of the male brain when a male becomes struck with love and how they handle their feelings in those moments. The song “Michelle” supports this idea because it exhibits portraying imagery of a French man trying to express his love to a woman, but not knowing how to do it. The man then uses his verbal gestures to speak to her in the best way he can. Likewise, Romeo and Juliet supports this idea because it expresses a character named Romeo that does his best to convey his love for Juliet but being dumbfounded and incapable of finding the right words to say. Romeo happens to be so awestruck with love that he mumbles and struggles to find the right words to win Juliet’s heart.
Romeo and Juliet’s families were fighting. There was three things and or people that got in the way of Romeo and Juliet. The two families named the Capulets and Montagues contributed. Mercutio taking Romeo to the Capulets party also contributed. The Friar and his three plans contributed to Romeo and Juliet’s passings too. The two families fighting, Mercutio taking Romeo to the party, and plus Friar Lawrence with his three plans contributed to the passing of Romeo and Juliet.

In Romeo and Juliet, the death scene is truly an emotional scene compared to all parts of the movie. The book and the movie have different aspects of why this scene is the same, but also has some parts to be different.
Juliet Suffered More Than Romeo Juliet suffered from immense amounts of emotional pain. Juliet suffers a more painful and agonizing journey than Romeo. This is because she feels like she betrayed her parents, she feels like it is her duty to listen to her parents and marry Paris, she feels guilty for Romeo’s death.
Old is Gold Romeo and Juliet, star-crossed lover of the tragic love story written by William Shakespeare. It’s about two lovers who fell in love but they are both from rival family-Montague and Capulet families. Even after 400 years, this story is consider one of the most famous, and the greatest love story is ever written in history. Throughout the generations, Romeo and Juliet will be recognized for a great piece of literature that shows many dynamic characters, actions, and drama which grabs a large audience. Many prototypes were created followed by this including two famous movies. In 1968, the movie is starring Leonard Whiting and In 1996, it’s starring Leonardo Dicaprio. Two of movies are accurate to the original story. Everyone has the right to remain opinionated on which story is the finest or more accurate. It is my belief that the Shakespearean version of Romeo and Juliet most accurately perceive the story of these two lovers because of scenery, characters, and storyline (plot).
Parent’s Don’t Know Best On the Esquire Network show “Friday Night Tykes”, parents of nine year old boys push their children to the limit for them to succeed in extremely intense football leagues. The majority of the parents on the show strive to have their child play college football because they believe it will positively impact their child’s future. However, the physical and emotional toll this extremely competitive lifestyle is having on these kids has people questioning whether or not it is right for these parents to continue to push their children just because they think playing college football will be the best thing for their child in the future. In Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare utilizes the relationships of Juliet and her
DiCaprio did it right, the other two movies were ‘meh’, but DiCaprio hit it on the nose. Shakespeare’s original play was a story of love and loss, all three of those movies perfectly captured that. Matt sucks. The style of movie the 1996 and 2014 version used is very enjoyable, the whole newage Romeo and Juliet. The older story portrays Shakespeare’s original idea of how the play should look. Though, the acting was sub-par on the older version. Many things can be learned from the rivalry of the Capulets and Montagues, those things are displayed differently in all three pieces. All three unique, yet also the same in ways. But first, the older movie.
No one knows when William Shakespeare was born but it is estimated around April 23, 1564 his work was known from all over the world and is still known to this very day and some of his history is still unknown of his past. Romeo and Juliet are known across the world for their deep love for one another, but, in reality, did they even know each other? Did they ever have the chance to develop a true love for one another or were they just teenagers, acting off impulse? Did they truly want the best for the other person, or did they just want the other person? First, we must examine the qualities of real love and the difference between true love and infatuation. We must look into the relationship between Romeo and Juliet, or the lack thereof, and determine whether or not Romeo and Juliet had enough time to get to know each other before they lunged into the deep commitment of marriage.
Romeo: Homie got a prob with love Romeo is a Montague, rival to the Capulet family. This is bad because he involves himself with Juliet who is a Capulet and they end up getting married. I decided to pick this character to analyze because I thought he was the most interesting to and is a main character. Personally, I do not identify with this character because he is not like who I am and he is completely not my type to date, but on the other hand I like his personality and heart. I like the way that he is a nicer guy who cares for who he dates, but I think that he cares too much to the point where he kills himself for a girl, and I wouldn’t want someone that clingy in my life. I believe that Romeo’s main attributes of himself are that he is
