Chosen People Ministries is another non-profit organization whose purpose is to evangelize and disciple Jewish people around the world. The organization was founded in 1894 by Leopold Cohn, a Jewish immigrant who is a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and his passion is to share that with other fellow Jewish people. Chosen People Ministries serves Jewish people in sixteen countries across the world. The main focus of the organization is to reach Jewish people for Christ through evangelism and discipleship, equipping believers to share the gospel with Jewish people, providing resources in print and on the web, and doing benevolence work. Chosen People Ministries has international messianic centers in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Berlin, and …show more content…
Another short-term outreach is “Outreach Israel” which is a short-term missions trip for college students and people 18-30 who are interested in reaching Jews for Christ. Outreach Israel offers many opportunities for training and evangelism in order that the gospel may be proclaimed to God’s chosen people. Chosen People Ministries also offers full-time missionary opportunities for those who are interested in pursuing full-time Jewish evangelism. Chosen People Ministries also offers internships and volunteer work to build up and equip people for the work of Jewish evangelism. The ministry also provides training through the Charles L. Feinberg Center of Jewish messianic studies. The Center provides a Master of Divinity degree in Messianic Jewish studies. The program is designed specifically for those who are called into full-time ministry as a missionary, leader, or outreach director to reach Jewish people for Christ. The program is a great way to train and equip people to become missionaries in order to reach Jewish people with the gospel. Chosen People Ministries also provides valuable resources to train and equip people to reach Jews for Christ in Israel (and around the world). One book the ministry produces is How to Introduce Your Jewish Friends to the Messiah. It is a valuable resource as it begins with a purpose statement, followed by understanding the Jewish people and culture, how to
The person whom I intend to share the Gospel with is my friend Drew Harmatz. We have been friends now for over three years and over that time grown to be really good friends. Even though we are good friends we do not share the same beliefs. Drew is Jewish and has chosen to stick with his birth religion because he likes the Jewish moral compass. Basically, he has expressed that he feels the Jewish culture is more peaceful and presents a better moral basis than that of any other religion. While we have talk of God, Christ, and the Bible; I have never tried to relay the Gospel to him.

The association organizes mission work locally and internationally to reach people not normally reached by the message of the churches. Whether these churches minister to people here in the community or in another country, such as Honduras, the members of the association work hard to ensure that their

Some estimate that 70 percent of the worlds bible-believing Christians (as opposed to nominal or cultural Christians) now live in the majority world.”1 This reality should entirely changes the way we think about missions. If the greater part of Christians no longer live
Evangelism is described as a three-way cord; building relationships, sharing the gospel, and introducing people to community. The authors encourage the Gospel and the Word to stay central, as well as community involvement and helping the needy in the name of Christ. There is a great emphasis on home groups (the authors are themselves home-group leaders), and how this practice makes church planting easier. The togetherness of this practice aids in ones spiritual growth because one cannot become holy on his

“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and the teachers to equip his people for works of service, so the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature,
God has a plan to reconcile His relationship with man after sin entered the world. This plan revolves around making His name known throughout all tribes and nations. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, the Bible presents God’s missionary purpose for humanity. For this reason, Christians involved in missions will travel to dangerous places to proclaim God’s name and saving power.
As a non-profit organization, our company has been profoundly doing well in helping raise money for families. Being with an organization which is committed to providing assistance to families in impoverished towns is very generous. Although, there is a concern I would like to address regarding using certain data we are using in our annual reports. The company uses pie charts to display data and prefers one type of pie chart over the other. I feel that we should use the pie chart which demonstrates the percentages.
After reading Chapter 2 of Pastor: The Theology and Practice of Ordained Ministry by Willimon I found that there is many ways to minister to people. It is possible to collectively and effectively utilize a little piece from each area to make it work. The primary thing to realize is that you are not overly dependent on one area versus another, allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in your ministry.
This course has had a great impact on my walk with Christ as well as my witness for Christ. I pastor a church and teach two classes and for me I thought that I was doing plenty. However this course has helped rekindle my passion for sharing Jesus Christ with people through personal evangelism. This paper will demonstrate what I have learned throughout this course.

The Moravians believed the whole church is responsible to evangelise the lost. They were Christocentric and ministered a simple but straightforward gospel message which speaks of the life, crucifixion, and resurrection of Christ. The Moravians were not theologically trained but were tradesmen and tentmakers who used their skills in missions. They used lay people, men, and women in ministry. The Moravians knew hardship and as a result they could identify with people whom society has forgotten. They evangelised people who lived on the outskirts of society like the Honduras and Nicaragua. The Moravians were Holy Spirit dependant, Kingdom minded and the first to promote Christian unity amongst all believers. They believed the Holy Spirit prepared people's hearts, thus making it easier for them to share the gospel with those prepared hearts. They were prayer warriors, therefore their missionaries were well supported by their prayers. Carey was influenced by the Moravians mission's faith, prayer life, and how they overcome their obstacles. They had God’s heart for missions, and always considering winning the lost
The last of the initial tasks for missions is spreading the Gospel. Once a strong, healthy body of believers has been organized that is well provided for and self-sufficient it
