Most siblings have a lot in common. Like the same interest. However, both of my sons Chris and Chase are very different from each other. Although they are often mistaken for twins by strangers and distant relatives. As their parent, I realize that they have very different eating habits, personalities and hobbies. I often wonder how they turned out so different. Their appearance is one of the only things they have in common. Chris and Chase have many similarities. Most of their features pulled from their father's genes. None of mine are present! Both of my boys are very tall for their ages, and have the very same height of 4ft. and weight of 60 pounds. Furthermore, they both have sandy brown, curly hair, hazel eyes, really light skinned, and freckles from head to toe. Their round shaped face and peanuts heads are identical. Easy for me, and less expensive because they also wear the same size clothing. I often dress the same colors and outfits, so it makes it hard for strangers and distant relatives to tell them apart. Moreover their preference on styles and fashion …show more content…
Christopher is very hyperactive, never can be still. Chase on the other hand is very calm and laid back. Chase just goes with the flow of things. Sharing is out the equation for Chris. He is like a big Hoss that likes to hog everything. For a child his age he is very selfish and inconsiderate of Chase. In contrary, Chase has a really big heart and always give in to Chris very easily. As far as school, daycare and interacting with other kids. Chris is the very social, curious and outgoing. His teacher thinks this is a two way street, because he ask a lot of questions and always eager to learn. Along with disrupting class, talking play and being the class clown. However, my Chase never get any complaints from his teachers, but we all worry about him been so introverted and short
Most brothers and sisters don’t look exactly the same. What causes most siblings to have different
Chris and Michael always have something going on
His first personality trait is his independence. Chris has been independent for a long time, and even as a child. “‘Chris had natural talent,’ Walt continues, ‘but if you tried to coach him, polish his skill, to bring out that final ten percent, a wall went up. He resisted instruction of any kind” (Krakauer 111). This shows his independence by making him seem as if he does not need anyone coaching him or giving him advice when he just could do it himself and get it right eventually.
Chris had to live with Walt oppressing his morals which is shown by Krakauer when he states, “ Both father and son were stubborn and high-strung. Given Walt’s need to exert control and Chris’s extravagantly independent nature, polarization was inevitable. Chris submitted to Walt’s authority through high school and college to a surprising degree, but the boy raged inwardly all the while”(64).Chris’s relationship with his parents was a rough path from the very start. Chris was a very independent person as Walt tried to control him and would constantly argue about opposing views. Chris completed his schooling for his parents but still resented their ways of life and deemed them to be “materialistic”, which was another driving motivation for Chris.
Immediately after reading the book it is quite obvious that Chris was an introvert. Whenever someone tied to control his independent nature he would “rage inwardly” (p. 64) and take out all
Since the early age, he always wanted to accomplish things his way no matter what. One of the incidents that showed off his independent, but stubborn side of him was when he got up in the middle of the night and found his way through the neighbor’s house and into their candy drawer happened when Chris was only at the age of two, displaying that he was an a independent person all his life, or an adventurer. “At the age of two, he got up in the middle of the night, found his way outside without waking his parents, and entered a house down the street to plunder a neighbor’s candy drawer.” (106). This quote shows that Chris was willing to risk getting in trouble with his parents for something as insignificant as candy. Many children his age would only imagine doing something as sneaking out of the house, but Chris turned his thoughts into reality. While being an
Chris’ thoughts toward money and gifts completely set him apart from the rest of society. From burning his remaining money in the Arizona desert, to donating his $24,000 life savings to OXFAM, Chris did not want to feel trapped by the need of money. This did not just happen overnight, as a kid Chris was given zeros on all of his physics lab reports because he did not agree with conformity, rules, and useless regulations. Continuing this behavior, McCandless was strongly against presents and being given anything, a suggested brand new car for graduation ended with his parents rage after Chris declined their present, like he did many times before, just not to such a scale. Chris never hid his thoughts or who he was, he was very honest and that made him different, but was not his vice by any
During World War 1, July 28th 1914 – November 11 1918, Australians were divided over the dispute of conscription: should people be forced to fight in the war? Conscription is the mandatory enrolment of a person for military service. It was a very contentious issue in Australia during 1916, as casualty rates in the war increased and the number of volunteers decreased. Prime Minister Billy Hughes decided to take the issue to the public in a referendum, Australian’s were given the option to vote either yes or no on the matter. There were two strong perspectives on the subject. Many people were against conscription, as they thought it was unethical and created employment issues. However, numerous people were for the idea of conscription as they
He succeeded in getting good grades at school but defied the rules his teachers laid out for him. Chris learned guitar, piano, and french-horn as he was growing up. He later became a talented French-horn player, and was a member of the American University Symphony. Chris succeeded in forming a strong bond with his sister, Carine. Carine remembers him as her best friend. He was always there to protect her. Chris did well when he played sports. He never kept up playing them though, because he didn't agree with the rules and techniques. In high school, Chris was the captain of his Cross Country team. He set standards for himself to run his best. If he didn't succeed, he would be disappointed with himself. Chris thought he could do anything, all it required was for him to decide to do it. He once told a friend that they could raise the money to travel to South Africa to fight apartheid. On the weekends, McCandless would stay away from trying to sneak into bars, and instead talk to homeless people and prostitutes. Chris succeeded in trying to improve their lives. During Chris's junior year, he was hired by a building contractor and became a successful salesman. He was a prized

A con that happens often with twins is appearance. Whether identical or not, somehow people always state that they look the same. There is no individualism. One would say that it would be cool to have someone that looks like you, but it’s the total opposite. We often pick clothing to represent our personality, or to break away from the crowd. Clothing for
Following the Civil War, many Americans chose to settle west of the Mississippi river and shaped a distinct culture in this region. Generations later, this fascinating culture was transformed into the Wild West, a romanticized version of the lifestyle, to entertain the masses. The romanticized perception of the Wild West differs extensively from the reality of western settlement, but in some aspects mirrors the true western lifestyle in the post-Civil War period. Native Americans and cowboys, for instance, are portrayed rather inaccurately in the romanticized adaptations of the West, while the images of towns and settlements are similar in both the mythological Wild West and the reality of the western experience.
Most twins also have a few close friends that are separate from their sibling. Most don’t share a personality. Again, some small parts are the same, but these parts can be explained by environment. My sister and I have different interests, are involved in many different activities, and have aptitudes in many different things. For instance, she is involved very heavily in the theater and political science departments at her college, and I am involved in volunteer work wherever I can find it and the nursing department. Finally, we don’t usually dress alike. We have not dressed in the same outfits every day since the age of six, when we started helping pick out our own clothes. When we do dress alike, it is only for special events. For instance, we are planning to do so for three days at the end of summer, due to our attendance at the Twins Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio and most twins find this a fun way to celebrate being a twin. Most pairs have the same philosophy. They may dress up for holidays or birthdays (the parents and other relatives find it cute), but not on an everyday basis. There are, of course, exceptions to the rule. Some twins like to dress alike all the time, even as grownups. Some have the same friends, and some even have eerily similar personalities. To these people, I say “More
Christopher may seem to be the brightest kid on the block, but even he has his own struggles that he must
It has been said that many siblings are very similar; However my sister and I are nothing alike we are actually very different. When two people have the same blood type and genotype is not insured that you will be exactly the same. Having same parents increases the chances of having the same genes though. All Siblings have various behaviors and personalities that make them dissimilar. Siblings have a genetic and physical closeness that connect them together. It is reasonable that not all sisters resemble each other. My sister and I are completely opposite.
