My life goals is full time ministry. I want to learn more of God’s word in depth. After completing all the training
In this capacity, I seek to increase my knowledge base in theology and ministerial leadership to strengthen and enhance the infrastructure of my college, All Nations Leadership Institute. Further, there are new ministries of which I want to learn, church planting is one. My last reason entails growing spiritually in grace-full leadership. I want to be closer in my relationship with Christ, maturate my spiritual formation and fellowship with other believers.
As I entered adulthood, I had a natural instinct for organization and leadership and I had a strong interest in using those talents to serve the church. I worked with youth groups, participated in WELCA, served on the church council and it seemed there wasn’t a task I would not take on. Many people, myself included, anticipated the next logical stop on my journey would be seminary.
God’s primary way of developing leaders was through mentoring. The most positive and effective technique to prepare people for life and leadership is through mentoring. As Christians, we are charged to “help the weak and encourage the timid” and to “serve and care for the flock.” A task impossible for church leaders to personally mentor so they assist prospective mentees in finding qualified godly mentors, as
With a personal interest in obtaining a position within the Timothy Christian school community, I would like to pursue this opportunity with much enthusiasm. I have extensive training and practical experience working with the general public, primarily with children K-8. I am confident in my abilities to connect with people of various ages and building a rapport with them. I feel confident in my abilities to effectively meet the needs of both students and teachers. I enjoy and work well in collaboration with others. I also have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Some of my responsibilities included:
Introduction David currently leads the campus development of Chi Alpha on the Tarrant County College (TCC) campuses. To this position, he brings twenty years of corporate managerial experience. David divides his responsibilities between Chi Alpha at the downtown Trinity River TCC campus and his position as college and career pastor at Fossil Creek Church. Considering the importance of David’s role at Fossil Creek Church to this ability to serve Chi Alpha, this motivational plan will address excellence both in terms of ministry responsibilities and balance. In our interview, David communicated the value he places on developing leaders, therefore, I will focus on leadership development a primary measure of excellence.
Besides my experience in the National Honor Society, I also serve as a classroom leader in my church’s children’s ministry. My purpose as a classroom leader is to inspire and motivate young kindergarteners and first graders in pursuing a deeper spiritual relationship with God. I am there for the kids and their love for Christ; I wake up early each Sunday to make sure their spiritual needs are a priority. Working with little kids truly humbles me as a person, and it motivates me to put other’s needs before my own
Every year, my church puts on a Vacation Bible School program to reach out to children in our community and to help them learn more about God. I attended this program as a child and grew to look up to my leaders. Once I entered high school, I began helping to lead the Vacation Bible Schooler’s, teaching them songs, helping them make arts and crafts, and most importantly teaching them about the love
I am personally drawn to the mission statement of this program. I am intrigued by the act of writing with a sharpen mind within the Christian worldview. I feel as if I can be closer to God by using my talents that he bestowed on me for His plan for me. I owe Him everything as he gave me a strong desire to make a difference through writing. As a writer, I am often the first person in a creative process. I have enormous weight on my shoulder as I have to make cautious and important decisions. When I remind myself about this responsibility, I take great responsibility about searching for the truth as I tend to broadening my vision within a Christian worldview. Using these traits and incorporating them into my desire for writing will be allow me
The church’s ministry on teaching and learning is simultaneously a simple and complex ministry. It is a ministry that is potentially misunderstood more often than it is understood in the life of a congregation. As the congregation struggles to combine secular life with spiritual practice, the vision for the teaching
For this assignment, I interviewed Sidney C. Frazier Sr., Pastor of Full Faith Ministries located on John’s Island, SC. Full Faith opened their doors on Mother’s Day in May, 1997. When given the vision to start this ministry, Pastor Frazier invested within himself leadership development by going to other organizations

Philosophy of Christian Leadership Paper I never thought to be a Christian leader. As a matter of fact, I am a person who did not know about God for 26 years. I was the center of my life, and there was no room for God to enter. Even when I was attending church service, I was trying not to be exposed to other church people. In other words, I was the kind of person who was afraid to walk into a life of faith. However, in the past three years, God has changed me in many ways, and showed me so many miraculous things. And, finally here I am. Being a Christian leader seems the most challenging job in the world. I am working as the chairman of a youth ministry, and walking on the path to be a church leader. When God called me to work for the
Introduction As a young Christian and junior military officer in the early 1990s, I often wondered whether I resembled Joshua or Timothy in terms of responding to the call of ministry. At times I felt like Timothy; young in the gospel, aided by the prayers of relatives, anointed by
