The American hero Vet award goes to Joy because she have given back to the community and has risk her life to save animals. She is one of the best veterans in Tennessee. She is a trained rescue worker always rushing to provide life-saving services to animals after a disaster or animal fighting raid; she is always ready to help. She goes above and beyond to save the lives of animals; she is very passionate about her job. What makes her unique is that she is the youngest person to ever receive this award. To qualify for this award you must have been in college for four years, be a certified vet, and live in Tennessee. She has her own animal clinic and it’s very successful.

Leadership: Troy continues to earn the respect of his co-workers through his positive demeanor and work attitude.

You can rest a sure that whatever I give him to get done; he goes above and beyond all measures to get it completed. There have been days that I’ve tried to get contact Leonard here at the office and could not, then I walk up front and find him staying in the rain, heat, etc. helping a patient get in or out of their vehicle or even carrying our own equipment out to patient’s so they were able to even get in the store. The Norman Borlaug Award for Field Research and Application, Endowed by the Rockefeller Foundation, is presented every October in Des Moines, Iowa, by the World Food Prize Foundation. The award presentation is appropriately held in the historically preserved and environmentally renovated World Food Prize Hall of Laureates. My employee Christian Ramirez has been an employer with us since 2010 as an assistant warehouse manager. On February 2011, due to lack of staff we promoted Christian from part time to full time, which made him occupied with countless work and extra hour shifts. He has been a tremendous help to our company.

I believe the civic and leadership actives that have most benefited me professionally have come from the responsibilities that I have taken within the Church I attend. Being a long-time member of 10 years, I have been in a leadership role regarding how the Church has gone about serving the needs of the community. Being the active media Director for the last 3 years, I’m able to provide the infrastructure to bring messages of peace and hope on a consistent basis to the community. Consequently, this life changing service that I’m allowed to provide transfers to all aspects of my life. Naturally, this makes me considerably humbler, patient and empathetic as a leader unto my staff.
