Christmas Break

My 2017 Christmas break wasn’t the same like it always be I still had fun and enjoyed the time we had from school, but it was a little different than the others wasn’t that much joy from me around this time really just wanted to see everyone else smile and be happy during this time, so I was spending time with friends and family over the break most of the time trying to make them smile each day.

Take a second to remember your last Thanksgiving break of high school, senior year and midterms are coming up soon. Tuesday, November 22, 2016 is a day I will never forget, only two days before the day that was dedicated to being thankful for everything in your life. On this day one of my very best friends was taken from me. Though this tragic event created a huge obstacle for many of us, we knew that we needed to get through it together as a school and most importantly as a community. Many of the students and faculty in my school were very close to her and for some, this was a time that classes were being missed and that their grades were dropping due to not being able to take the stress. I hope you had a good winter break. I wanted to touch base with you letting you know that I am still going to be working at STEM this semester. Also, since there is no school today my work schedule will be a different this week then it will others. For this week I will be working Tuesday: 8am-12pm Wednesday: 11am-1pm Thursday: 8am-1pm I hope these times work out let me know if they need to be changed in anyway. Since this is the first week of the new semester for me it may take me a week or two to figure out what working schedule will fit best with me. Hope you guys don't mind. Again, hope you guys had a good break and I will see you bright and early tomorrow!

What I did over Christmas beak was a lot of things. The things I did was sleep, went shopping, ate a lot of food, spent time with family, went out of town and watched movies. During the break I had a wonderful time doing a lot of things. I’ve never had this much things to do on Christmas break, and this is the first time I did all of this. I think that this Christmas break is probably one of the best break I ever had.

On the last day of the semester, I was still a bit sick, but I had to take my exams. After I finished and corrected the language arts exam, I got a 90 and I was happy. I texted my dad and he came and got me from school. When I got home, I slept for an hour. Then most of the break was playing on my computer.

My Christmas break started off rough but, it got better as the days moved on.

For this assignment I chose to record my technology use the day I left to go back to Boston for thanksgiving break. I have to say it was quite surprising to see how much I use technology to get through my day. The morning I got ready for my flight to Boston I had an alarm set on my phone for 3:30 AM. My friend was supposed to give me a ride to the airport so ended up using my phone to call her five times but no answer. I got scared that I was going to miss my flight so I texted my friend and told her to call her. She still didn't answer.

the fist thing i did on Christmas break was go to my uncles house to have a new years party.we had finger foods ping pong,and lots and lots of chicken nuggets.Are family is really competitive so we went up stairs and payed q tennis challenge at first it was 2v2's then it was 1v1's the it was family vs family.if someone lost they would be really mad and throw a fit that they lost.Mos to f the people were really out of it at the party.

Often times when a new president is elected, issues in office are usually faint and non-existent, but when the 43rd president of the United States (George W. Bush) was put into office all of the sunny days and laughter went away. Personally, I would disagree with the amount of work accomplished while he was in office. There should never be a time when any duties sought out for the president should be put aside for “vacation”.

My unforgettable memory of the winter break was on 2015 when I touched the snow for the first time in my life and built the snowman. The winter break with snow falling was common for others, but for me, it was more than usual. Overall, Georgian barely receive snows. I came to America on January 13, 2011, at night and it was my first time seeing the snow. I was surprised and unknown about snow. Back in Nepal, I never received snow. Besides, I thought snow never existed on earth. When I first observed the snow at the beginning of new life in America, I thought something was going wrong, and we were about to die. Contrary to common belief, you can actually learn a lot over Christmas break. Over break, I learned that everything is not always as it sees, and to not overreact about something without having enough knowledge. To explain what I learned, I am going to tell a little story about a Christmas party that my dad's side of the family had.

In March of 2014, my family and I went on a vacation to Naples, Florida. One year before this, a part of my extended family moved to Naples. They moved there because of my uncle, Cory Briscoe. Cory needed 2 to 3 years of additional schooling to get a degree in Nurse Anesthesia. Thinking of going to Florida had been fantastic thus for unbelievable. Our plan was to go the week of spring break to get away from the cold weather in Idaho. Quickly the first day of spring break came, and we were off to the airport.

California is a land of adventures.There are so many different things to do. There are beaches,pools,parks, and so much more.I plan on going there for a family vacation. I would go to santa monica pier.I seen videos of people doing really cool stuff there too.
