Civil Liberties vs. Civil Rights
In 1787, when the constitution began the induction of rights to all Americans. As people we have these benefit due to our founding fathers. With the 10 different amendments each reaching out to a different citizen of the United States. These can be considered our civil rights.
Civil rights are the rights the citizens withhold to political and social equality and or freedom.
The rights of all Americans are crucial to a functioning country. With civil rights there comes
Civil liberties. Civil liberties can be defined as state being subjected to laws that were purely established for the wellness of the community and it with regard to their rights to a freedom of speech and movement.
Civil rights and civil liberties are both put in order to benefit the people as a whole. They are for the better of the people and the community, they aren’t meant to be against the citizens.
Civil liberties and civil rights withhold many of the same goals. Both are working for the ten amendments, making sure people abide by them. The freedom to speak and do what you may want is widely used in both civil liberties and civil rights. But civil rights is reaching towards those who aren't treated fairly. Such as other races or genders. Since the United States constitution was written there have been severe problems with equality among the people.
