Include at least 5 events. The first major event is when he hits play the third time. This is a threshold of the story where Clay enters the unknown. He has the choice not to listen to the tapes. He could have thrown it out. As he says, (pg 15/16), “I mean why put myself through this?Why not just pop the tape out of the stereo and throw the entire box of them in the trash?” In this moment, he has to decide, to go through tapes and deal with the sadness and anger, and know or not know and stay where he is. The Second major event is when Hannah catches Tyler spying on her. Although he didn't come back, she doesn't feel safe anymore. Her one safe place, where she would feel safe was taken. She was robbed of her privacy and her security. The third major event is when Clay leaves Monet’s(a cafe where Clay stays to listen to the tapes). In reading the articles from both of the authors, it was easy for me to see the perspective that each one has on the subject of Barry Bonds and his use of steroids in Major League Baseball. The first author Will (2007) comes across that his perspective is against the drug use in any sports and he uses an objective language in his writing to show that. In our textbook Chaffee, McMahon, and Stout, (2008) describes an objective language as the use of little personal judgement and using persuasive facts to lure the audience in your direction. Will (2007) used facts based on the change in the ratio of home runs every 16.1 at bats before to 8.9 at-bats after the drug use for Bonds. Will (2007) also used testimonies from people that worked with Bonds, the equipment manager Mike Murphy for the San Francisco Giants testified that Bonds’s shirt size changed from a 42 to a 52 and that his shoe size increased from a 10 to a 13. Will (2007) also used examples of drug use in different sports from as far back as 1898 to support his story.
Out of all the many characters, I think that Zach Powers is a character that has not changed a bit throughout the book. I think this because Zach keeps pranking Capricorn almost every single day, and that proves that he still likes to make fun of Cap, and other losers. Zach's personality hasn't changed either because he's still selfish. This is because he doesn't want to lose his popularity, so he is his doing anything in his power to stay popular, even if it involves hurting other student's feeling. This is why he is sending Cap to meetings that don't even exist, and shooting spitballs in his hair.
Who Was John Reid Have you ever thought of a tutor going from tutoring, to falling in love, and too joining the American army as a spy… well John Reid is that guy from the book “Time Enough For Drums” By Ann Rinaldi. John Reid is a very brave, smart, and adventurous guy. John helped Jemima throughout her entire life basically and made her way more mature from the beginning of the book to the end. John Reid is a brave man from the 1700’s, I say this because he worked for the American army and did anything he could too protect Jemima. In the book, John Reid quoted that, “Your mother told you that, no wonder why I have been having trouble controlling you”(Rinaldi 84).

¨The Boy On the Wooden Box” by Leon leyson is a tremendous book about the Germans invading Poland During World War 2. The main character, Leon lason, (as the narrator and the author) lived these horrifying times and watched people die around him. Leon was only ten years old at the time, and he saw way to much at his age, such as people getting beat, dying, and people starving to death right in front of his eyes. In fact, he watched his own brother die. As Leon tells his life story during these difficult times, you’ll learn that life then was a struggle.
Blame & Responsibility In Homestuck, by Andrew Hussie, the narrator truly states, “Being a kid and growing up. It’s hard and nobody understands.” Kids have to figure out responsibility, relationships, and more as they transition into adulthood. John Conlan and Lorraine Jensen learn many life lessons throughout the book The Pigman, by Paul Zindel, as they meet Mr. Pignati and face the consequences of their irresponsibility.

Andy Dufrense was sentenced to jail for two life sentences back to back in which he was falsely accused for killing his wife and her lover. The text states in chapter 2, page 25, "Walter's face told everybody in the first grade he had hookworms. His absence of shoes told us how he got them. People caught hookworms by going barefooted in barnyards and hog wallows. " This shows that Walter cannot afford luxuries such as having shoes on your feet or clean clothes on your back.
Thirteen Reasons Why is about a teenage girl, Hannah Baker, who committed suicide. Each chapter of the book is centered on her cassette tapes, which tell the audience every reason she presented as to why she killed herself. These tapes were sent out to the 13 people who Hannah believed had an impact on her decision to kill herself. The book begins when the narrator, Clay Jensen, arrives home from school and sees a box full of tapes on his doorstep. He takes the box inside, opens it, and finds seven audiotapes and thirteen stories.
Hannah is dead. How could this happen? Did she make these tapes before she killed herself to tell people why? Through the speaker was 13 peoples names, each on a separate tape. They were claimed to be the reasons she did what she had done.
Chris has a special connection with his therapist at school she trusts him so in return he trusts her. An example of this special connection is when Chris tells Siobhan his secrets to have this trust Siobhan must have been around Chris for a long time because it takes Chris a long time to adapt to new people. This trust leads to Chris showing Siobhan his book and it also leads to Chris being open with her about his feelings.
