I felt a weight on my chest. It was heavy, as though an anvil had been placed right on top of my ribcage. I began to panic again when I started to have trouble breathing. I wondered if I was having an asthma attack, but even if I was, I wouldn’t have been able to take a breath from my emergency inhaler because I couldn’t move. I began to feel uneasy, and sort of sick. I felt bad for other people who have gone through these side effects. After a little while, I heard what sounded like muffled whispers. I was worried that someone had broken into my house, but at the same time, I doubted it. The whispers sounded like they were coming from right beside me. I looked around the room to the best of my abilities. I saw something in the corner. Something that I will never
After I sat down and collected my nerves, I finally decided I should go out and explore some more. As soon as I stepped back out, I ran into that blue squiggly jelly again. Ah, there you are. Ive been looking all over for you. To help you with your travel, I brought you a car! he explained as he handed me the keys to some weird car. Thanks a lot. I replied and he walked away. I was ready to find out what was going on.
it is so quiet compared to what i was prior encompassed by. as my eyes adjust and my surroundings come into focus i see strange scribble upon unknown items. where am i and what have i just walked myself into?
Checking my surroundings I took that I am Lost in a maze. As the light Flitted through small openings in the ceiling. I stood up and took one step and am taken aback by a platform that comes through a floor tile and on the platform is a tape recorder that is modified with cell phone parts. The screen becomes active and says ¨one message listen now?¨ I press the button that says listen and the dark voice that haunts my memory says ¨ Welcome new person try to find you way out of the maze. We are sorry about your memory try to regain it as fast as you can. Now grab the bracelet so you can always receive messages. Welcome to the maze. ¨ With that the screen went dead and the platform dispensed a bracelet and a backpack with some supplies.
At times, we may find that the universe speaks to us. At other times, it howls, blares sirens, and lights the skies of our minds with a firework display. Discovering Vassar College was anything but coincidence; I can still hear the chiming echo of my fate calling as clear as day.
I slowly open my eyes and I am terrified. Where am I? How did I get here? I can hear many loud booms which I presume to be the constant shelling of my brothers-in-arms. I see syrettes, saws and lots of black rats lying dead with unearthly expressions of anguish on their grotesque faces. There is fresh blood on the floor next to me, a bitter metallic smell penetrating my nose. I close my eyes for a second to regain my composure and when I open them fragments of information start coming back to me.
I grumble as I clean the attic , angry because I have to do it, so I figure I'll go through the stuff while doing it to keep myself interested. I find a box labeled FRAGILE DO NOT TOUCH so of course I have to touch. I open the box and am quite disappointed to find a crap ton of glass balls. I pick one up with a name on it. I start picking up more to see if the rest have names and I'm not disappointed this time. Each one has a different name on it. My arms become too full and I accidentally drop one and it busts, then out of nowhere there is this bright purple smoke that smells like old garbage. I cough and cover my nose. When the smoke clears away I see a man standing there. He's about 6 feet tall and has a expensive looking black suit
Rational thought was not something Metcalf had at his disposal at this point in the day, and even this point in his life. The dark, grim and seemingly endless walls felt like isolation, but in reality, he was still in an area with a massive population density. He stared blankly into space, but his peripheral vision was so off that he failed to notice a silhouette figure getting bigger and bigger to his right. He heard the sound of shoes crunching onto stones, but he was so high that he was hearing all sorts of noises. He was so distant with reality that he did not even notice the figure stop just metres away from him. “Are you okay?” Metcalf suddenly snapped out of his false reality the best he could, because the sound of a real voice
It was as if my head was going to explode; the immense pressure was almost too much to take. If I had had too many thoughts swimming around my head earlier, it was as if they had all transformed into shards of glass that now poked and prodded my brain. Suddenly, the silence was broken with a loud pop and the speaker system sparked to life with little crackling noises emanating from them. It studdard at first before it finally burst to life with a man’s deep, booming voice. “If I could please get your attention,” the bodiless voice states “we are about to begin.” “Yeah as if they didn’t already have our attention” I scoff as reposition myself to get a better look at the display around
I took the long way back to class so I could get a drink from the water fountain. As I was approaching the end of the hallway, someone shouted out to me,
'What! Wait! Were am I? And what am I in? Who are these people?' I thought to myself. My eyes darted to the middle of the room. 'What is that?' I wondered. It was unfamiliar to me it seemed like alien technology but I was still unclear about that. Then the door to the room I was in opened. The thing that came in was definitely not human. The thing typed something on the computer thing in the middle. Suddenly these little electrical, mechanical static charges were came down from in side the thing I was trapped in side. They were coming strate at me. I tried to move so that I wasn't electrocuted but I was stuck in place! Then waves of electricity corsed through my body. All of a sudden I remembered everything. Who I was. Why I was here and who sent me.
On my way back home, after the conversation ended with me saying that I had an errand to run, (even though I did not), I begun to come back into reality, like my brain had finally caught up… Shouldn’t I be heading the other way? What’s happening to me?!? Usually, It’s like my feet know where to go and if I tried to change my direction, they never shift. Why did he say falling over ‘again’? Replaying and replaying the scenario in my head, nothing makes sense… Only one idea jumps to my attention. That I was being given this opportunity to change my encounters and misfortunes, maybe I wasn’t meant to die that
I’m sorry, ey relayed, I do that sometimes, when I come across something that provokes such massive amounts of speculation. In fact, I don’t even know if you’re merely a figment of my imagination, maybe, you’re an apparition whose purpose is to simply drive me insane? Possibly, a spirit here to lead me through the underworld, how about, the bearer of an omen long ago driving you to- “That’s enough,” Chara said grimly, “can you just continue?”
All of a sudden I felt another presence it's like someone wants me to become paranoid “is someone there”I screamed “no nobody's here” a groggy male voice said .Idiot is he that stupid or maybe he's drunk well I guess I'll find out “knock knock” “who's there” the voice said overly joyful “shut up you'll get us found out” a second angry voice growled “oops sorry I
A glimpse of black appeared and then quickly disappeared. Its watching me I whispered. But why won’t it kill me? I tried to opened the emergency exit but something on the other side was pulling it pack. I could hear the abnormal breathing and strange sickling sounds it was making. “Look
