Lebron's not getting any younger Let's add one more number to the ones I cherry-picked above - 30, as in Lebron's current age. That doesn't seem too old, but he's already logged more regular season minutes than Isiah Thomas, David Robinson, and Larry Bird. One more deep playoff run and he'll jump into the top 4 in career playoff minutes behind Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Tim Duncan. Can the Cavs survive the loss of Kyrie until December with Mo Williams and Matthew Dellavedova? Did you know that, outside of OReb%, Anderson Varejao (no longer in street clothes) has better advanced stats (PER, REB%, WS/48, VORP, etc.) than Thompson? As amazing as Thompson was during the playoffs, the Cavs were championship favourites last season because of their starting PF, Kevin Love (also, no longer in street clothes). When Lebron decided to return to Cleveland, he said to Lee Jenkins of SI, "I'm not promising a championship....We're not ready right now. It will be a long process, much longer than it was in 2010." He certainly didn't play like it would take that long, bringing the Cavs two wins closer to the elusive championship - as close as the franchise as ever been. For as many times as it's been said in the past, this season is Cleveland's best opportunity to break the curse. 2015-16 Team MVP Will Be: Lebron James The name is not a surprise. No need to get cute with needing Irving to remain healthy and Love to step up. Everything begins and ends with

But the question is how all of these strong personalities and undeniable talents will play out on the court together. It can either be a success for a franchise that hasn’t had many peaks since the days of Chris Webber, Jason “White Chocolate” Williams, and Mike Bibby, just to name a few. But this current roster holds the most talent that this team has seen in years and they can capitalize on that to finally make some noise in a tough Western

Of the three major sports teams in Cleveland, Ohio, the Cleveland Cavalier, for they joined the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the early 1970. The Cavaliers had a very rocky start with the first 15 years being a losing season, after losing season. While some fans blamed the owner at the time, as he had no clue what he wanted to do with the team. But in 1988 the Cavaliers put together a rather good team, that made it to the playoff. During the first round of the playoff the Cavaliers played the Chicago Bulls in the best of five series. In the 5th game the Cavaliers were leading with only second to go in the game, but as with other teams in Cleveland, it would happen again, Michael Jordon would hit a basket with only 2 seconds left on the clock, this basket would be known as the “shot”, as this is a common theme for Cleveland fans, that all heartbreaking plays are given a name. Again, after the 1988 season the Cavaliers would only have mediocre seasons until after the 2003 draft, as a hometown boy from Akron, Ohio, named LeBron James, was graduating from high school, although the Cavaliers were not guaranteed that they would have the first draft pick to sign James, but as fate would have it, the Cavs, ended up winning the draft lottery and signed this young man to play for the Cavaliers. In 2011, Lebron was traded to the Miami Heat and later his team chemistry got better and the next year he won his first NBA championship. After that year was over the Heat came out strong and won another championship in 2013. That’s two trophies already for the rookie. In 2014, Lebron announced he was heading back to Cleveland to play for the Cavs once again. Two years later he won another championship with the Cavs against Steph and the Warriors so that might prove something. Plus, the Warriors had a 3-1 lead in the championship and blew it because of Lebron and the Cavs. Yes, Curry hasn’t been in the league as long as Lebron, but shooting threes and
“I’m just a little kid from Akron”-LeBron James. Lebron James is one of the greatest basketball players to ever play the game and even at age thirty two he is still crushing the game. That is a big reason why he is my hero because he has always been a superstar from the start. At St.Vincent-St. Mary High School where LeBron went to highschool he led them on to win three Division III state championships. He was the first sophomore ever selected for USA Today All-USA First Team and then kept going from there to be named Parade magazine's High School Boys basketball Player of the Year and Gatorade Player of the Year in just his Junior year. He just kept getting better and better every year. His senior year he lead his team to the top national ranking and then went straight out of highschool to the NBA.
