The core success of a business lies in its marketing strategy. Most aspects of your business depend on prosperous marketing techniques. The overall marketing includes advertising, public relations, promotions and sales. Marketing is a process by which a product or service is introduced and promoted to potential customers and the ability to keep a loyal customer base. Without marketing, your business may offer the best products or services in your industry, but none of your potential customers would know about it. Without marketing, sales may crack and companies may have to close or partner with other companies. Moore reports to the Director of Marketing and she has a Project Specialist team that reports to her. Moore had to learn from the start who to deal with individuals in top management positions. Working with top management individuals, Moore became more articulate, she developed polished presentation skills and become more proficient at demonstrating the benefits of their services in a clear and concise manner. Moore states that her favorite about the job is being able to work with talented individuals, traveling with the company, learning, compensation and benefits. Moore would like to create more internship within the company so that future Marketing graduates can learn and gain some in-site of working in the Marketing industry. She states she knows it would serve a great benefit to the company as well as soon to be graduates. Marketing doesn’t just focus on the number of ads you can display or having the best commercial ad during the Super Bowl. However, it’s how you capture and retain old and new customers. After capturing and retaining customers, someone has to be the master mind behind the numbers. Marketing has many different layers such as marketing objectives, strategies, brand positioning, and messaging and public relations activities.
