Climate Change: Environmentalists and Global Warming

The Environmentalists claim the science is settled, and that any actions taken to prove otherwise will be unfruitful. They do this to turn public attention away from the fact that much of their data is purposely taken out of context, manipulated, or made up in order to prove that Manmade Global Warming exists. In fact, there is more evidence showing that the rise in temperatures may be due to solar activity or part of the Earth’s natural climate fluctuations, than to support that it is caused by greenhouse gases generated by humans.
The Global Warming Debate encompasses one of the most complex systems in our natural world, the Earth’s atmosphere, so it is very important to understand the basics. In the book, The Science and Politics of

In both states, the temperature reaches high levels during the day and when the sun sets the energy from the sun attempts to return to the atmosphere. The dry desert air of Arizona allows the energy to escape and the temperatures fall rapidly, but in Alabama high humidity, clouds, absorb some of the energy and reemit it to the surface which cause the surface temperatures in Alabama to be warmer at night (Bailey, 2002, p. 10). The Green House Effect is a very natural process, without this process life on our planet would be impossible, but it also requires a delicate balance. Mars and Venus are two planets that are very similar to the Earth, but differ in the thickness and composition of their atmospheres. Mars’ atmosphere is almost nonexistent causing the greenhouse effect to be very minimal and leaving the surface cold and unable to support human life, while the thick atmosphere of Venus amplifies the greenhouse to such an extent that a human could not inhabit the planet.
The public has been led to believe that the climate should not change, but this is clearly not the case. John Christy says, “‘the notion that climate should be stationary does not come from science’” (Bailey, 2002, p. 20). Christy also goes on to make the point that no two centuries or even two decades have ever been alike in the
