Clive Staples (C.S.) Lewis was the famous author of The Chronicles of Narnia series. Lewis was born on November 29, 1898 in Belfast, Ireland. He died on November 22, 1963 in Oxford, UK. Not only did he write the Narnia series, he was also a poet, academic, broadcaster, and a strong Christian leader. Jessie Keyser was a thirteen-year-old girl and all throughout her life she had been told the right from wrong. The disease soon effects most of the children, making Jessie’s mother to put them in quarantine. Ma soon lets Jessie in on the secret that outside of the Clifton it is the year 1996. She also tells Jessie that she might be the only one to save Clifton and the people in it by retrieving the medicine it takes to cure diphtheria. Jessie has to go through Clifton men and the one behind the whole experiment, Miles Clifton. Not giving those people medications and letting them die is a crime. Criminals should be held accountable for their actions.

The news of his demise made my old memories fresh again. I still remember those days I spent on the place now they called The United States. The war between the English and the Americans began from 1775. King George the third, after defeating the French found his empire very large. The involvement of the king in too many wars put him in a huge national debt. To pay for his debt taxes were levied on the colonies without consenting the people living there.
William Stafford was born in Hutchinson, Kansas, on January 17, 1914. He was an American poet and pacifist. He married Dorothy Hope Frantz in 1944; they had four children, one of them Kim Stafford is a writer for Lewis and Clark College. During the Second World War, Stafford was a conscientious objector and worked in the civilian public service camps. He died of a heart attack in Lake Oswego, Oregon on August 28, 1993, having written a poem that morning containing the lines, "'You don't have to prove anything,' my mother said. 'Just be ready for what God sends. The Stafford family gave William Stafford's papers, including the 20,000 pages of his daily writing, to the Special Collections Department at Lewis & Clark College in 2008.
Hugh Williamson was born on December 15th, 1735 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. As a child, his father sent him off to get a liberal education; many family issues arose, such as, his parent’s careers and his mother, Mary Davison, captured by Blackbeard. As an adult, Hugh had many different jobs and moved from state to state. Hugh continued in the mercantile business with his brother, and also reentered private medical practice in North Carolina. In 1776 he was elected into the Continental Congress, and signed the Declaration of Independence. At 44 years old, he married Maria Apthorpe and had 2 children. In his later life, After his 2 sons and wife’s death, he gave up his profession as a physician, and continued writing philosophical publications in New York. On May 22nd, 1819 Hugh Williamson died in New York City.

Although these racial inequalities are said to be forgotten and against the law, the misconceptions have not been erased from American people’s minds. There were many attempts to fix this problem, to finally realize and notice the similarities between all people. An additional factor into why this problem is still relevant today is because slavery poisoned the mind of white American people especially the ones born in slavery who grew up knowing white people superior to Black men and then passing this on and on to generations after them. As, perhaps arguably, his most famous novel, from his most famous book series, The Chronicles of Narnia, there has been much debate as to his motives for the implementation of religion in his works, and even some question as to whether religion is an actual existing aspect of the work. This essay will not only outline the unmistakable presence of religious allegory, but also focus on the purpose of it being there. Thus being, that C.S Lewis uses religious allegory to effectively introduce and develop core themes of the novel in a fashion both comprehensible and relatable for a universal audience.
