1) Club 33 Club 33 is a private club located within Disneyland above the Blue Bayou in New Orleans. Membership into this exclusive club requires $40,000 for membership and $10,000 in yearly costs. The reason it costs so much? Club 33 is basically a backdoor Disneyland but with a liquor license and a decades long waiting list, props from Disney films, and complimentary valet parking. You enter by buzzing the intercom found in a hidden panel in the doorway, afterwards you take an old-styled glass lift to any of two dining rooms of your choice. Great place to visit…if you’re an ultra-rich tycoon. http://www.disneylandclub33.com/index.htm 2) Surtsey Surtsey island is a recent development that came into existence a little over 50 years ago. The Icelandic island came into existence from volanic eruptions in the area. It was on November 14 1963 that a crew sailing near Iceland discovered smoke rising from the sea. Absolutely no one is allowed in the small chapel except a single high priest who is charged with it’s care and preservation. The high priest is the only one allowed to look at the ark, and the only person able to locate it within the chapel. The priest is never allowed to leave the grounds and will name a successor on his deathbed. No one from the public has ever seen the artifact and no one is allowed to enter the church to view it. The original origin of the Ark of the Convenant stem from the King Jame’s version of the Bible that held the Ten Commandments and was received by Moses from God on Sinai. The Ark was enshrined at the Temple of Jersusalem in the Holy of Holies, at the Old Church of St. Mary of Zion.
I wish to be apart of the National Junior Honors Society because I have always been a determined and hardworking person and being accepted would continue my journey of greatness. In all the activities I have participated in, I don’t ever do it for acknowledgement or respect from others. I do it for my enjoyment and success.
Members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated have made everlasting effects on my life. Having mentors in this fraternity allowed me to see how every member feels responsible for improving the communities that they are from. They never hesitate to take the leadership roles that are needed to see change. I would like to become a member of Alpha Phi Alpha because it would allow us to share a brotherhood with great men, it will allow me to make valuable connections with other positive men around the world, and it will help me become the best version of myself. My desire to become a member of this fraternity began my freshmen year after I attended the first informational meeting. At this meeting I was able to speak with members and also learn from them. They each have strong leadership characteristics that allow them to serve on executive boards across campus and they all are high achieving students at Cornell.
The characteristics of outstanding scholarship, leadership, character, service and citizen definitely apply to me as an individual. The Women’s College World Series is the last round of the NCAA Tournament, where the National Champion is decided. Every little girl, that plays softball dreams of playing in the Women’s College World Series. This past season, it was a dream come true for the Michigan Women’s Softball team to make it to the World Series. As a player and as a fan the World Series is one of the best experiences to be a part of. Fans are outside of the stadium tailgating all day long. Then at came time thousands of fans rush in to the stadium to take their seats. This past year the overall attendance record was broken. There were 78,078 fans, breaking the previous record of 75,960. Everyone’s family and friends wants to be there so badly.
I have done my best in school. I have always gotten a grade better than a A- in school. In order to achieve this, I do extra credit when it’s given, go in early to class if I do not understand a concept, and get homework done in a orderly manner.
Music is a very powerful expression of emotions that come together as a whole to morph your psychological feelings into a sub-reality vision. Over the many years, history has been able to capture the moments at which music has made an impact on human lives. We can start with Manu Chao the artist that sings about left-wing messages and portrays his concerts as “collective therapy”. Or Juan Gabriel the young man that rose out of poverty to become the world’s most beloved artist/songwriter and whose music carried a resonate flamboyant style. Music is a way of communication that is used in many realms such as entertainment, tradition religion and sporting events. So far this semester, Chic 316 has influenced me to seek a more coherent relationship
“The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing”, quoted the famous Albert Einstein. Most people don’t care what happens to others who need the help. Luckily, we invented food banks, Wounded Warrior Project, and plenty of other things. I would like to be part of National Junior Honor Society because the very origin of the society came from service. I realize that to be a part of the society, I will need to work hard to get where I want to be.
The first paper is due by Monday, April 9, 11:59 p.m. You MAY use sources outside of the Liberty Search Engine (and are encouraged to do so). Also you may use scholarly books and not just journal articles. You should avoid using generic websites that do not appear scholarly in nature. A good rule of thumb is that if a website does not have an author, it is not a good source. Good online material has also usually been published in print at some point. Google Scholar and JSTOR are great places to search, as well as the online encyclopedias I've shown you. Always feel free to send me an email if you have questions about sources or formatting.
Being in a sorority is very rewarding yet can be very time consuming. Each member that is part of a sorority has a huge role to play even if you do not hold a position within the organization. Alpha Sigma Alpha is a national sorority who is heavily involved with community service and their three national philanthropies, St. June Smith, Special Olympics, and Girls on the Run, as well as local philanthropy year after year. This source is located on Alpha Sigma Alpha’s national website that is dedicated towards the sorority’s service and giving. In this section their philanthropic statement states, “Life is not taking in only; it is giving out too. It is giving ourselves - freely - to other people, giving ourselves in comradeship, in understanding,
This past year, I have been motivated to keep up my grades and work hard because of Adams' National Junior Honor Society program. I have aspired to be in the Society since I read it over the summer on the Adams website. I was so excited when I received this letter because it meant I had a chance at making the program. I want to be in NJHS because it will teach me how to manage my time, organize events, and work with others. Working with others who also value academic success contributes to my will to be in the program. Together, we can help each other grow and thrive in the community. We can also collaborate to help those in our community who aren’t in the position to speak out for themselves. I read about an NJHS group that organized an event where they donated toys to children who are less fortunate. They spoke out in school and changed the lives of many young, unhappy children through the program.
In today’s society, a good quality education is an important and valuable necessity. As a college student at Lone Star College, my college experience has greatly influenced me in an enormous amount of ways. By attending college, I have not only had a chance to receive a quality education and degree, but also an opportunity to socialize and interact with various people from different cultures. In addition, the professors on campus have been extremely helpful towards teaching me to succeed in both inside and outside the class room. Furthermore, my college experience at Lone Star has greatly influenced and encouraged me to be successful and achieve my dream of becoming a doctor.

I'm President of Chatfield's Key Club. At our last officer meeting, my fellow officers expressed interest in setting up a booth for the bonfire to raise both awareness and money for the Eliminate project. I'm extremely passionate about this project and can go on a rant about it, but I'll try my absolute hardest to give you a quick little summary:
However, the lords of the Philistines decided to take the Ark of the Lord to the city of Gath, and there they Lord caused exceedingly great panic among them by sending a plague to afflict the people of the city and tumors and boils broke out on them which killed countless people in the land of Philistine. Finally, after the ark was in the land of the Philistine for seven months, the lords of the Philistine decided to return the ark to the Lord back to the people of Israel because it was killing them more than war itself (1 Samuel 5:1-12; 6:1, 21). When the Philistine called for the people of Israel to have the ark of the Lord back to them, David gathered together 30,000 chosen men of Israel, and went to the land of the Philistine to bring the ark back to Israel. When they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah who was one of the men who drove the ark put out his hand to the ark, and touched it that the ark shook and the anger of the Lord came upon him that He smote him for touching the ark, and he
