Yeah, Mr. Jack you’re right I’m late, not only by 5 minutes but 6 minutes. As you can see I’m sweating bullets since I just ran here. I was in the gym with Coach Travis, I was shooting on the gun taking it all in, the sparkling of the hardwood floor, the brightness of the lights, and the sound of the gun shooting the ball back to me. I was just doing my thing when all of a sudden I heard Coach Travis say something, “I would sauce you” are the exact words he said. As we all know Coach Travis is pretty good and it would be tough game, but I wasn’t going to just play it off like I didn’t hear it. I said Coach “You may be able to sauce with your Steph Curry handles, but I’ll drain threes in your eye.” I guess I really didn’t know what I was getting
Did you know that 2 years ago I played in my school championship game ? We were at Chichester high school . We came out as nervous team shaking legs were non-stop on the bench the starters were even scared. We have not even started Kick return and the team was sweating I got to be honest my self I was scared myself ! I wasn't that scared though only thing i was worried about was Coach Ryan and his son Ishaad Maultsby. They came out all excited and they were coming out so flashy, Ishaad was treated like Cam Newton at the super bowl game !
When a passion dies, it is the most heartbreaking thing there is. A coach who has killed my passion has their favorites, makes me feel worthless, and only cares about the girls who she thinks are the best. No matter how hard I worked in practice, it would never be good enough for them.
One big fight. Coach says he won’t coach a thug team that fights and can’t handle themselves. His name is Coach Buddy Stephens. The last Chance university kids go there maybe because of academics or maybe fell off the grid and want to come back for another chance. Everyone goes Division 1 and who ever doesn’t make it will be disappointed. Mrs. Brittney Wagner the academic advisor comes in and helps the players graduate and have the grades to not drop out of college or classes they can’t afford to drop out of so they can play football. Now comes John Franklin III He is a transfer from Florida St. He ran track there and played football. But he dropped out of school because of academics and he didn’t want to be there anymore so he came to Emcc
In the Spring of 2016, track season was just starting up at Beckville High School. I have done track for the past two years now. Track is one of the funnest sports in high school. Track is what makes a person better all around athlete.
I am writing to the three of you because I am interested in the Assistant Softball Coach position at your school. As an alum of Mountain View High School I know the competitive traditions that the Spartans have on the field and in the class room. I believe that with my knowledge of the game, passion, dedication, and skills makes me the perfect candidate for this position. The four years that I spent on the varsity softball team here at Mountain View High School ultimately allowed me to find out who I was as a player and a person. There was so much more to being a Spartan than attending a High School that performed well on the field, but was also like a second family.
It is my junior year of high school and basketball season is right around the corner. I am on the verge of either making varsity or junior varsity this year depending upon my skills. Went through the tryouts and was able to make the junior varsity again for my second year with coach Maloney. I was all excited to play there again seeing I was one out of the three kids that made it back there again. From there it was Cam, Anthony, and I who thought would lead the team because we were the only ones who knew how to run Maloney’s offense and defense well that’s what I had thought was gonna be the case but in reality it wasn't. I thought I would be a starter for the team, but in reality I ended up being a bench player or how I thought of it as a
The game felt like a million hours left in the last quarter of the game for b-team. We waited on the sidelines for b-team’s game to explode as, we watched. The a-team started to drink water and stretch a little for the game.
This is probably the most popular and used play in football. This play requires that the running back runs off the outside hip of the tackle.
It was just another school night in the seventh grade. Our recreational tackle football team had a practice at 730pm until 9. It was a very swampy night and from that I felt myself very sluggish. At the time, I was a backup running back. I was always left on the sidelines facing the chills of the cold wind during games. I typically didn’t get to see much playing time on the field, but that night I got my opportunity. I was receiving kicks during a punting audition and all I was doing was catching the ball and throwing it back, nothing unique. One throw after another, my coach began to praise my arm strength. Seeing me pass the ball was a true eye-opener. That night, I went from a backup running back, to the starting quarterback of my rec
The person that had the biggest impact on turning me into who i am today was my middle school coach.
My mind was set to pursue a career in coaching after my undergrad. Leading into my first year as college football coach, I relied mainly on my personal and prior experience during college as a football player. I wanted to provide the players with support and guidance I did not experience having as a player. During my first year as an assistant coach, I managed to influence some players following my main objective in my first year as a coach. Going into my second year, I was promoted with my own position group, running backs (RB), to coach without having to shadow another position coach as an assistant. I was excited, passionate, and overwhelmingly ready to guide this group of young men into a spiritual, motivational direction using my personal experience and my prior knowledge of football to support my coaching goals and objectives.
It all started in 7th grade, our football team was at the time undefeated and we were in our second to last game. We were up by quite a bit and our team was feeling sanguine, our coach didn’t put too much thought into it, and called a run up the middle with our star running back Michael Lundy. He Got the ball and ran for Three short yards then suddenly tripped over a pile of angry, impassioned, irritable teenage boys. Michael had landed wrong and you could see by his expressions he was hurt, his dad came on the field and helped carry him off. We were forced to continue the game without Michael, which wasn’t all that bad because there were only three minutes left in the game. We the Philomath 7th grade braves had won our second to last game
It all started when i was in fourth grade. It all changed what inspired me came by whole big dream that i wanted to be successful at. I was at school just a normal day, and it was times to go to PE, and my coach got out a circular ball that i had never seen in my life. It was kinda colorful, it had some weird word written on it, but i couldn't see from where i was standing. My coach handed us each one of these balls, and coach called them volleyballs. My coach told us what to do and what not to do, so i was at this net, and just gave the ball a high five because that's what he said to do. Coach came over to me, and kinda directed me through and told me it was called a serve. That day i went home thinking about it, and i decided i want to do
Unfortunately, I know all too well about terrible training experiences. There is nothing worse than unprepared trainers who do not know how to utilize the technology or how to train other people. In my case, I was amazed at how far I got in the finance business when I was hired as an assistant manager of a store location, my second day of training the manager quit and they never sent anyone to replace her. Subsequently, they moved me into the manager position, and I taught myself everything via a handbook. Honestly, I would have never thought that such a rocky start would have lead me to be a District Manager over nineteen stores, all brand new locations, and then moved to a Regional position in charge of seventy-one stores. Even with the promotions,
