Chapter Two-Cobyn
Moving swiftly through the trees, Cobyn followed a mental map he had of the surrounding area. He and his family had traveled from the Marshlands before. It had been the place he had been born. The Unknown had driven them out though, leaving their city to burn. Cobyn's infant sister, Aleen. Aleen, had been lost that day, as had so many other Keddish people. The moon shone down from above, like a silver sun lighting his path. Creatures moved, fast and flitting through the trees as Cobyn walked, keeping a quick pace. He could hear the crunching of the leaves under his bare feet, and occasionally the moonlight would catch the hilt of the sword making it shine. Cobyn hurried. The armies would not clash for many days, having

Based on these observations, Cobyn corrected his path. Walking around the lake, he noted it was too far away to see through the trees. However, he figured it was calm and still, undisturbed at this time of night. Night was often the best time of travel, and yet also the most dangerous. No people were out, and the Unknown were not either. Animals, as always, remained a problem, however they are easily avoided as long as your not tramping over their homes and habitats. Cobyn looked around, checking his surroundings for anything dangerous. He saw nothing. So he listened, still nothing. He proceeded onwards. The Isles lake was only about a mile from Terf, the place where Haamond met his premature end and former Keddish town. Speeding up Cobyn get closer to the edge of the trees, and as he passed he looked out on the large open field. The grass looked slick and wet from the mist that seemed to always hang over the field. Cobyn ventured out into the grass, looking down. The moonlight illuminated the grass, allowing him to see black, and red blood from the warriors who had fought, and the ones who had died. Knives, swords, chips of armor and wood lay out in the field, a testament to the struggle. Cobyn was even shocked by the sight of a few Unknown bodies. They were terrifying creatures, tall and black with no tangible form, seeming to float about like dust their lifeless bodies stretched out on the grass. It was almost as if one could put their hand through them, yet they were solid. With empty faces and no emotion they wreaked fear and havoc on the land. Just looking at the lifeless forms of them made Cobyn feel panic rising in his mind. Then he spotted something familiar, something he had seen countless times before. Haamond's helmet lay, empty in the field. Rushing towards it, Cobyn dropped to his knees. He stared at his own
1. Pheoby's moral code is differs from the towns, because Pheoby is best friends with Janie, Pheoby doesn't see Janie as Mrs. Joe Starks like the rest of the town. As Janie is walking through town, the ladies on Pheoby's porch make snide comments about Janie's, “blue overhalls” (2), and questions, “ Where she [leave] dat young lad of a boy she went off her with” (2). While Pheoby decides to ignore their comments, and check on Janie. I believe Pheoby's code is 'truly moral' because, she doesn't judge Janie and her choices like the rest of the town.
zany He threw a finger to the dead end of the corridor, where twenty-someting Jason Abbernathy proceeded with a smile, sliding a homburg over his gelled hair and urbanely clicked his door shut.
To Yossarian he was “living” the dream, because he could fake pains and need to stay in the hospital for days at a time until he “felt better” which kept him out of flying missions. While this was “everything he wanted”, we later learn that Colonel Cathcart (complete ignorant sun of a gun) keeps raising the missions the soldiers have to fly until they are allowed to be grounded and this actually hurts Yossarian’s plan of staying here until the war is over. Although the hospital seemed to be his paradise, no one liked him there but let him stay even though some knew he was lying about the pains in his liver, bringing up one of the several reasons his squadron was very contradictory and messed

That first night at the barracks changed Eva’s life forever, and it changed her way of thinking. She remembers how tired she was and yet not being able to sleep that night, turning to count a handful of large moving figures on the ground. When she had gotten to 5 she jumped up screaming “MICE! MICE!” to which another girl in a top bunk looked over responding “silly girl. Those are not mice those are rats. And you better get used to them because they are everywhere,” and she was right, they were everywhere. Realizing that they wouldn’t be able to fall asleep the two girls settled on taking a trip to the latrine in an attempt to clear their heads. Neither of them could have expected what they saw. As Eva walked into the bathroom she saw the bodies
This letter was inscripted on the back of one of the last postcards that McCandless ever sent. McCandless explains that he is now going to hike into the Alaskan wilderness, which means he won’t be able to contact anyone anymore. As the reader knows McCandless’s eventual fate, this letter seems ironic in the way that he writes. McCandless mentions that this will be the very last type of communication, insinuating that even when he were to finally hike out of the wilderness there would still be no communication. He even goes further to mention that it was great knowing them, which is usually said before a person is about to die. McCandless could not have been positive that he was going to die in Alaska because he didn’t necessarily plan anything,
One day on planet Zargon an unknown spaceship landed on the soft and bouncy crust of the planet. Eeku (ee-kuuu), the planets stern and honored ruler had just come back from an urgent mission on the planet lar225.
went to grab on Elina's rear , while her nipples were sucked on. The saiyan enjoyed how that rear felt on her hands. She plays with Elina's hair and revealed her saiyan tail. She laughs and brushes it against Elina's slit. ''People do want my race dead. I hope that I do not die soon'' Daizu kept on massaging Elina's slit with the tail, but does not enter it just yet. ''I want to place myself inside you. Bend over on the bed for me'' Daizu feels saliva drips off her nipples and it really got her loving Elina even more. ''I liked to be licked'' She used her tail to rub all over Elina's body and places her hands on the human's chest. ''Feels so nice'' She could not keep her eyes off Elina's private parts.
Tim “O” Brien has felt a lot of shame telling this story and it wasn't easy for him to relieve some of the pressure. “My mother and father were having lunch out in the kitchen. I remember opening the letter, scanning the first few lines, feeling the blood go thick behind my eyes. I remember a sound in my head. It wasn't thinking, just a silent howl.” (p2/4) Tim has gotten a letter to fight a war that the us didn't understand and that he didn't like so he feels like he's too good for war, and feels the blood behind his eyes go thick. He couldn't, couldn't go to war.
Arnetta seems like she would be the strongest because throughout the story she tries to take a sort of command within the group. She seems like the strongest by the way she acts, but in all reality she is acting weak. She uses threats, insults, and demands as a way of seeming strong. In page 282 paragraph 3 Arnetta would say to a boy as an insult,
During a warm, sunny morning at a house surrounded by a big field of flowers, Oyasumi has to babysit two kids, Prince Alfred and Nature Alfred. Oyasumi made a cup of coffee for herself as she waited for the kids to arrive. They finally arrived at Oyasumi’s house and ran to the door, excited and happy. Oyasumi didn’t want them in her house with the thoughts of something possibly breaking, so she told them to play outside. Nature Alfred rolled around in the flowers, purring with happiness to finally see lots of plant life, while Prince Alfred became bored. After a few minutes, Nature Alfred also got bored. Prince Alfred felt like roleplaying as his character, a prince, but he also didn’t want Oyasumi to be the “beautiful” princess in his roleplay.
Both of them were extremely smart. On page 105, “Colleagues refer to Walt as brilliant” and on page 106, Chris “came into this world with unusual gifts”.
1. I do believe Jones is being truthful about Ebert, for the most part. I could see how it could be possible that Jones may have “sweetened” it up because he saw Ebert as a real good person. Ebert comes of as an honest and innocent person so I do believe he is being truthful about himself. I’m more likely to believe what someone says about their self because no one knows you better than you.
Protagonist goal - I believe that the protagonist's goal was to act in whichever way he wanted. He never wanted to please anyone but himself.
