Some of my skills include, collaboration, critical thinking, communication, positive attitude. Working at Haunt helped me put the customers first. For my job I had to do whatever I could to make sure the customer walks out of the maze satisfied. It kind of relates to retail because I would put the customers needs first so they'll be satisfied with the customer service in your

Reflecting on my skills, I believe I have excellent social, communication and language skills. These skills are essential in any customer-facing or team work oriented job. As explained by Morgeson, F. P. et al. in “Selecting individuals in team settings: The importance of social skills, personality characteristics, and teamwork knowledge.” (2005):
Collaboration and communication between patient’s, their physicians and the health care team are required in order to preserve the safety of the patient. Improper use of EHR can produce errors that may possibly threaten the reliability of the information in the EHR which may endanger patient’s safety thus decreasing the quality of care. Healthcare quality relies on the accuracy and integrity of the patient’s health information. One manner EHR accuracy may be-threatened is because of the growth of members of the healthcare team copying and pasting text documentation. The copy and paste process poses a risk to the integrity of nursing documentation. Risk such as, redundant documentation, outdated documentation, and inability to identify when

What were your goals – for your own skill development and for the client’s well-being? I wanted to make sure I provided the best knowledge, I learned so far for my client. The client well-being is very important to me, so I wanted to make sure I avoid harming my client in anyway. I wanted to show my client compassion, empathy and build a trusting relationship.

Lately, I have been working on my communication skills and leadership skills at my service learning. I am starting to figure out each child’s personalities and how to work with them. I am also learning how to understand the children’s way of communicating as well. For example, one student will cry and not pronounce all of his words and we have to understand what is wrong with them. To get him to say what is wrong we have to make him go sit in the corner and let him take some time to calm down and use his words.
For the topic of this conversation we will considered the important competencies of communication and teamwork and collaboration. Nursing is not a solitary profession; we need to be experts in communicating and collaborating to help improve patient care. Communication is key in preventing life changing mistakes. I find myself with myself hyper vigilant when a doctor is giving me a verbal order, even though I repeat it back to the doctor I am afraid they might also not be listening to what I am saying back to them. A medication given at the wrong dose could result in horrific consequences.
My greatest skills are any soft skills. I have a true fascination with non-cognitive skills such as communication, time management, organization, leadership, teamwork, adaptability, and management skills. For my high school graduation project, I founded a soft skills mentoring program for middle school students. I view soft skills as a major necessity for college and career success and I would love to incorporate my passion for soft skills into my ability to be a counselor or support staff.
Being in a relationship, I noticed that communication is key. However, there are other numerous factors that play a substantial role in the relationship. I believe in three simple things.
The problem being addressed in this paper is the lack of effective communication and collaboration in the decision-making process in post-secondary education. The lack of cooperation attributes to ineffectiveness in institutions and restricts appropriate changes among departments. This is a problem because it is important to have key departments leaders in the conversation who are willing to work toward efficient business processes, and those dedicated to collaboration (Berg, Kraemer, Raatz, & Devoti, 2009). This problem is important because a hierarchical system, inter-department silos, bureaucracy and an unwillingness to compromise limits negotiations to share work and improve relationships (Kanter, 1994; Senge, 1990). This subject is worth
I think that the two main traits that are mentioned in this article, that of communication and critical thinking skills are an absolute must for the someone to succeed and land the career that they have worked so hard for. One needs to be able to communicate on a professional level and with proper communication such as in person or even through email without abbreviating words as many do in text and even emails. I feel that with my age I have learned these skills with having been in the work force before becoming a stay at home mom, which also requires you possess these two traits quite well. I am a firm believer that for one to work their way to the top is being able to think outside the box in other words you must have excellent critical
I also learned Empathy which is the ability to have an understanding of what another person is going through. This skill allow you to put yourself in another person’s place and recognize the thoughts, emotions and experiences that person is having. The skill off Patience which involves being able to maintain a temper, to repeat and explain information as necessary and to control anger in even the most situations the costumers bring. The skill to Tolerant people I have too accept differences, even when they don’t personally agree with or condone them. This is a valuable skill in workplace environments that cater to people of different ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds. Having patience with others and can keep a level head in stressful situations and it will definitely be noticed by management. The skill of respect shows consideration for the feelings, needs, thoughts, wishes and preferences of others. The skill of listening, paying full attention to what other people are saying, takes time to understand the points being made. Even some of the skills helped me outside of work. Like if I was out with family empathy would be a good thing to have or even at school I should have respect for different people all shapes and sizes. I’m glad I learned these skills from working at the Piggly
Having employees with excellent critical thinking skills are the most important trait that one looks for. There are often times when working for a company that hasty decisions have to be made. Often times they are made so quickly that proper critical thinking of the situation is not done. This can lead to an employee having to go back on their decision and try to fix and correct mistakes that were made. So mistakes can often be an easy fix others can require more time. As an employer I look for employees that have quick critical thinking skills but, also have the ability to think smart when making critical thinking choices. I want my employees to have as less mistakes as possible which make my company run better. The better the employees are
