College is where many student go to further their education. Some people however feel as though collage is not needed to be successful. Others want to further their education but feel the financial cost is too great for them. But the benefits of collage far outweigh the financial problems of it.
Collage has benefits for everyone not just those who want to further their education. “A new study even shows that a bachelor's degree pays off for jobs that don't require one.” the amount of money you make from earning a degree far outweighs the “average net tuition” of “ only about 2000.” the benefits of a full time degree far outweigh not getting one.

You get a higher level of education that betters your mind and you’re thinking process. Some people say this is not true but, I think that it is. Some will feel overwhelmed by this thought and others may not. While a lot of people have the option to go, many decide not to. In Charles Murray’s article, Are Too Many People Going to College he discusses a few reasons why people might not choose college. Although in my own opinion it is not always necessary to attend college, I do believe it will benefit many people. Freeman Hrabowski’s article Colleges Prepare People for Life makes a point about benefits of college which I agree with.

College is a place where students learn what they want to be when they graduate and they use that knowledge they obtained from college to fulfill their dream by what they have studied, so hard for in college. Some people ask, “Is College worth it?” and the answer to that question is, “Yes.” A lot of people continue to disagree with that answer, but when it’s all said and done: college is worth it. First, the question that has been thrown around for decades now, is college worth the time and money? With this being said, money isn’t about everything; however, the more money someone makes, the less stress is put on an individual and more opportunities are available for a person who has a bachelor degree.
The cost of attending college has risen drastically over the years. Statistics show that there has been a 260% increase in tuition costs since 1980. The increase in tuition cost equates to an increase in money borrowed to fund higher education. An increase in money borrowed results in an increase in debt accumulated over time. As a result of the rising figures, the economy as a whole has also suffered because of the restricted financial space many graduates find themselves in upon completion of their degree. In this paper, we will discuss college costs, reasons why they have risen, and the best way for students to pay for it.
In the debate about whether college is worth attending, many argue that college is worth it but others argue that college is not worth it. Those who argue that college is worth it contend to say that college graduates make more money, college allows students to explore career options, and not going to college will cost people more money in the future but on the other hand, those who argue that college is not worth it contend to say that college graduates are employed in jobs that do not require degrees, students who do not graduate waste their own money and the governments money, and student debt can cause another financial crisis for students who are already struggling with financial aid. While it is true that college does cause many problems already, college is worth attending and worth all the problems at the end of the road.
