I chose this career so that I can make everyone in the world happy. I love to cook, clean, and even give orders occasionally. I want to have my own restaurant and have many of them all around the world. I want to be able to visit these restaurants at least three times a year each. I want to make my uncle happy by succeeding in the business. I want to be like him one day, happy with what I do and very successful. I want to bake a bunch of sweets for children all around for their birthdays and even just every day parties. I want my kids to come from school every day and get a treat for being so good. Mississippi has a very low amount of employees compared to other states such as California. I may go to Texas though because it is bigger than Mississippi and my uncle also lives there.
In order to do this I need my education. It will require rolling in different classes such as cooking, baking, and home economic classes. I will need to go to college to get a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, culinary management, or a related field. Before I can have my own restaurant, I will have to have some formal training. I may have to do some shorter programs such as food handling, sanitation procedures, nutrition, knife skills, and basic cooking methods. There are also longer programs that may include things

In other words, to make sure they are doing all of their work and doing everything correctly. I will also be responsible for taking food orders and kitchen tool orders so that everything can be prepared. I would like to also get behind the spatula and get to cooking right along with the people who work for or below me, just in case the kitchen is being short-staffed or if I really want to cook something out of boredom. Some other responsibilities of a chef are that they create the recipes and plan the
Pursuing a career can take much more thought and work than can be expected; however the career that I would choose is brick lying. Although I had to give some thought and ponder on which way I want to go. I’ve come to the conclusion that brick laying the career for me , growing up and watching my uncle work as a Brick layer left me feeling like this wasn’t the job for me. The hard hat job came with long hard labor and many dirty clothes. Needless, to say I didn’t want anything to do with it. As I got older and seen the finish work, I became fascinated by the finished product and I knew right away that this was the career for me.
The career goals I have is to own a restaurant or food truck, that specializes
Throughout my entire life I was lucky enough to have a personal cheerleading squad behind me through each challenge and new beginning. I am internally grateful to have such amazing friends and a large family support system who are responsible for cheering and pushing me to achieve greatness in life. It’s allowed me to realize that standing out among my peers is okay, and making an impact on the world is the most rewarding aspect in life. As a first generation college student, I was raised on the idea of always achieving the most out your work. A moto I learned in boy scouts before becoming an eagle scout was do a good turn daily, which I live by.
“First finish your work, then you can play to your heart’s content” was the chiding I would always receive when my parents caught me messing around while I had work pending. They would say that studying was my primary job as a student and should be given the most attention, but participating in other activities outside of school and devoting a portion of my life to nurturing my faith were just as essential.
Excelling in school has always been a priority. While most of my peers found excitement in winning in a sports event, I always found that receiving stellar grades to be more rewarding. When I entered high school, my vision for the future was not clear and I was looking for my purpose in the world. I developed a love for chemistry thanks to my teacher, Mrs.Worley. Her passion for the field was displayed in her teaching, which rubbed off on me. I started to think of a career in the field after I learned about a drug that she helped design to fight cancer. I realized for her work that there were so many possibilities in the field that could better the world. This is why I am choosing the pursue a degree in chemistry.
My life and career paths took a different turn ever since I came to realize my full talent and potential in sports. This triggered the planning of a crucial conversation between my father and me, and I believe that it is very important for both of us, since the decisions that we shall make will have direct consequences for my family and me at large. Although I have studied hard enough in school and even got the chance to go to college, I feel that I don’t want to pursue a career that is linked to academics. With the recent realization of my full potential in the utilization of my talent, I feel so bored about school and feel that with playing soccer, I might go further compared to where my academics in college would take me. However, my parents
I've always had many interests: drawing, writing, cooking and baking, sewing, biology, etc but I couldn't choose from any of them as a career choice because they seemed too simple for me. I needed something challenging but those interests fell short. Luckily, I found something.
The darkest hour is just before the dawn.” To sum up my college experience in just one phrase, this would be the one. In grade school, outstanding reports are easy to come by. To get a good grade, do your homework, study, pass the tests. Simple. Growing up I always paid close attention to my work to make sure that everything was one hundred and one percent. As my highschool days came to an end, I had to make a choice about college. My mind was filled with ideas and possibilities and I settled on the one I thought would be convienient, easy, and fun. I quickly realized that what seemed to be the uncomparable choice, turned out to be my worst. I slowly began to draw away from my studied due to lack of interest and other personal relations throughout
In life, there are many decisions that people come across, from what to eat for lunch everyday, to where to start a career at. Many young people in high school do not often think about what they want to do after high school until they are a senior. For me, I knew what I have wanted to do ever since I was in middle school. High school has been an amazing experience for me, and has helped me make strong decisions, but I have been ready to move on since the first day of senior year. I am very family-oriented and do not like to be far away from home for a long period of time, so a close college is best. I have been looking into Bowling Green State University and Ohio Northern University for the past year. While BGSU
I truly have taken the road less traveled and have already felt the hardships of life at the age of nineteen. However, I am still optimistic that even through the darkest times, I can still be the light for myself and fellow students. Instead of attending a college or university fresh out of high school due to financial problems, I invested two years of my time to become a licensed cosmetologist. With my license, I can pay my way through school with no worry. However, my time isn't only dedicated to my clients. I wish to bring my talents in hair, skin, and nails to my fellow students on campus. Understandably, as college students, we do not have the money to be spending it on ourselves. With my skill, I can give students a fresh new look that
I always thought of myself as beautiful, talented, outgoing, intelligent, etc. mainly because my mother told me so. She always complimented how I looked good in everything, and confessed she was jealous. I always felt that I was perfect in every way, especially intelligence because of the GAT (gifted and talented) program I was in, my 4.0 GPA, my straight A’s, and that every teacher I have ever had, liked me. I always knew I could accomplish anything I set my mind to. I always left things to the last minute and still got them done on time, and I still do. On every project I have ever done, I have ended up doing all of the work, not being able to count on the group members the teacher had assigned. I had sometimes been called too controlling
The start of this project began in early October, and for the most part it was a relatively simple course of action to be prepared, coordinated, and reported for the majority of the school year. Its themes and priorities were simple in theory, however—volunteer, research post-graduation opportunities and ideas, and for the most part settle with a plan on how to address adulthood and future prospective careers and education. My choices led me to volunteer for the necessary twenty hours and my own curiosity has allowed for me to navigate the internet and other sources for ideas on careers, education, and even the possible jobs that I could acquire when moving from Pennsylvania after my graduation. There were many things to learn, but many things
I am from a middle-class family originally from Nigeria, I moved to Chicago to better education. I have been extremely lucky to experience diverse cultures and ways of life, and in my own way I have been able to incorporate that in my daily life. My family also made it clear that education would be my ticket to survival later in life. I have seen education not only as a means to survival but as medium, to change the world. Learning about different things, and giving an open mind to others is an essential required for everyone. All my academic, social and financial achievement can be traced to my open-minded personality. I plan to major in Architecture and minor in Theater Arts, learning about arts and design is the best feeling and experience anyone would have. The idea of using ones imagination, creativity and logistics to create something phenomenal is beyond
There are some requirements to becoming a chef. You have to have a culinary degree in what ever field you want to go into such as: Mexican, Caribbean, Italian, etc. The field that I think that I am going into is Mexican. I think that I am going to get my culinary degree at the Culinary
The career I chose was Computer Engineer. Computer Engineers work with the hardware and software aspects of computer design and development. They use science and mathematics to develop new kinds of hardware and software and also solve technical problems. Computer engineers usually work as part of a team rather than by themselves. Computer hardware engineers usually design, develop, test and supervise the manufacture of computer hardware- such as chips or device controllers. Software engineers usually research, design, and test operating system software that helps run your computer.
