Freedom is something we all crave from the moment we begin to talk. Weather if it's the freedom of speech, the freedom to have religious rights or just simple scenarios such as your parents letting you stay out past your curfew, they all come with a great sense of freedom which as a human being not only do we covet, but we deserve. However, as we all know freedom isn't free, we have to constantly work for it. For me, a time when I felt that I was rewarded with a gift of freedom was three summers ago when I was going into 8th grade. For Christmas my parents bought my sister and I both tickets to see One Direction which was more that I could've ever asked for. Three of my friends, Kennedy, Reilly and Alex also received tickets which made the experience even more worthwhile. To top it off not only were all going to the concert, but we were going all by ourselves. Which …show more content…
I always wanted the freedom to be on my own and to know that my parents trusted me, so when I received the tickets I was overcome with a sense of joy and freedom. I instantly felt older and trusted which was a gift much greater than any concert tickets. Although, like most things in life things come with a cost. For example, I wasn’t just given the tickets haphazardly, I had to earn them. Months prior to earning the tickets, I did everything I could to prove to my parents that I was responsible and trustworthy. I would keep my room clean, take care of my dog and most importantly treated my parents with respect. Eventually, my parents began to realize that I was growing up and gaining a sense of responsibility, therefor I was rewarded with freedom. Overall, in the scheme of life freedom is something that we all have a strong desire for and for the most part if you work hard, and have characteristics of trustworthiness and responsibility God will led you in the direction to be rewarded with
Having freedom means having the ability to express yourself, pursue your dreams, and have equal opportunities. It's about being able to speak your mind, follow your passions, and be treated with fairness and respect. Basically, it's about being in control of your own destiny and living a life that feels true to who you are. Freedom is a fundamental right that allows individuals to make
Freedom to me is being able to learn from your mistakes. If I did not have freedom, I would have to do what the top officials tell me I have to do. They would tell me what books to read, what religion to study, and even what food to eat. I wouldn’t
Freedom, what is it? Well freedom is the right to speak, think, and believe as we would like. It is what this country gives us. It is what the founding fathers gave to us when they signed the Constitution. Freedom is a gift in so many ways! Think of the
Having freedom is what makes the people who they are as humans, and what they are meant to be. Freedom is simple as saying small and easy things, "Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows" (Orwell 84). Before anything else, freedom is the most important thing they can all have, because without it,
To me freedom is like a gift. Not everybody wants it but a lot do. The people who want it really bad, so bad that they will fight for it. It the same way with a gift, not everybody wants it but some people do and they
“You have brains in your head and feet in your shoes, you can steer yourself in any direction you choose!”~Dr.Seuss. Today my generation has been given the chance to have freedom. Why you ask? This is because America went through a lot of arguing and fighting to get where we are today. I have been given the chance of a lifetime, to be in a world that I can be what I want and make decisions of my own. When I think of freedom I think of people who have chosen to fight for us and stand up for what is right.
Freedom is anyone’s opportunity to make decisions. Therefore, freedom should be demanded. Nothing you ask for is just distributed to you. Freedom was not voluntarily given up to people. You have to endeavor everything in life. You, yourself, may not have worked for freedom, but someone did. Everything came about with a price, whether it was small or large. Freedom is something that should be demanded because there is a struggle for everything you want in life.
freedom from want. However, these freedoms are not true freedoms as they are reliant on a
Freedom has basically given me life. In certain places in the world are only allowed to have one child, because of certain laws, but since Americans are free I am allowed to be on this world. I am the second child my parents have had, and if Americans weren’t free I wouldn’t be on this earth at all. I might’ve not been able to be on this world with the amazing family I have.
America’s Gift to my generation is a great one. They have given my all the freedoms I could ask for.
Freedom means different things to different people. It can mean a chance to vote, freedom to worship, or being able to speak your mind without fear. Many people take the blessing of the Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms we enjoy in America for granted, not realizing what they really mean or what has been done to secure them. Freedom
Freedom has been strived for, for years. An example to why freedom is important is so people have the same rights and so every citizen is equal. Rosa Parks
Freedom is something that everybody wants, it has been fought for by many countries for many years. When I think about freedom I think of all the things that we have the ability to do that other countries or other societies don’t have. From wing able to voice our opinion to being able to go see a movie like dead pool or other movies like that, which, in many countries seeing it wouldn't even be an option. Freedom is in everything, we live and breathe freedom.
Freedom to me means that i can got to school each day to get a good education which is a good thing because i can oneday use my education to get a successful career so i can support myself when that time comes for me the only way that we get good education like this is because some veterans sacrificed themselves for the greater good of our country and that made it so we all can live how we want.
I really wanted to be free because my family and I had lived in a free state, so I decided to go to Court. We won, we are free! I was lifted to the sky! I was hopeful for what was yet to come.
