The breathtaking emotions that embrace me every time the city stares at me right in my eyes, is what draws my attention to the field. I desire a connection created for the equality of the rich and the poor; I desire a shelter built to open new horizons; I desire a space opened to lead us to the eternal balance between human and nature.
My artistic multicultural worldview is multi-factorial as my upbringing was rather unorthodox. I am a German citizen, born to Chinese parents and taught in an international education system. My dream had once been to change the world by following suit with architecture as China has done it with “Alibaba” in finance. However, after struggling to identify who I am, where I belong and what I am looking for; after travelling to many places and seen many different people; after being the center of a crowd and living through despise--- I realized that I wanted to become a harbor, to

On these undertakings I also learned administrative skills to help shape these different events. I have worked through the system from design concept, to translation, and even to executing the final project. In all this I have learned to look at a building like a vivid human in all its dynamic glory. The beauty of it, it’s historical features and also to appreciate the psychology; a bright yellow duck in the middle of down town can bring hope and make people happier in their depressing hustle and bustle of life.I started my path down the vast upside-down turrets of that pagoda and truly understood that: “art meets function”. Having been exposed to eastern and western architectures, I shaped my own opinion and thought it is no longer right to hold the “common sense” thinking that “Eastern is tradition, Western is Modernity.” If there is one belief I have for architecture right now, I’d say it’s “Modernity of Eastern and Tradition of
Ever since I was a child, I wanted to help people in whatever way I could. During my high school career, I have had a manifold of opportunities and experiences to help people through various measures. Some include assisting my fellow Scouts’ with their Eagle projects or volunteering as a Special Olympics summer camp counselor. Participating in National Honor Society and Key Club in high school, both service oriented organizations, has exposed me to giving back to my school, as well as my community. As an Eagle Scout, living the Scout Oath of “to help others at all times,” strikes a spark and desire in me; an ambition of mine. However, I do not want to stop at the high school level. It is extremely important for me to continue in my education and attend college.
I graduated from high school on 2002 and I never stop thinking about going back to
As I toured the home and studio in further detail, I also noted a certain foreign influence as well. When looking from the street, the front door is hidden behind a long Japanese-inspired path and garden known as the “path of discovery,” and Wright displays many Japanese art and prints within the house as well. Additionally, sculptures and murals along the walls throughout the house depict Greek, Egyptian, Native American, and Middle Eastern subjects. Though one could see this as contradicting Wright’s constant advocacy for architecture that does copy styles of other cultures, I see the inclusion of these elements as paying some small respect to cultures Wright himself found particularly intriguing, creating a house that fits his interests.
I hope your life is better than mine at the moment. Hopefully, you and Jeremiah are still together and you’re finally happy for once in your life. I hope you still have family picnics in the park ,and lay in the bed with your husband as you both tell each other about your hopes and dreams, while in your pajamas and fuzzy socks over a glass of chocolate milk and teddy grahams, like you used to do back in your younger days. I know you’re excited about walking across the stage in the spring, and finally graduate from college in the top 3% with honors and your receive your doctorate at age 25. I've always had faith in you, and so has your family. I’m sure we all remember when you changed your major from nursing, to teaching, then back to nursing
Throughout high school, I always envisioned myself majoring in International Business and achieving the highest degree in that field. But, this past year and a half, along with the tense political season made me realize my true passion for politics. After thinking about it restlessly, I decided that it majoring in Political Science would be the most interesting and beneficial for me and my future.
Goals, goals, goals they're what people think about and how they are going to achieve them in the future. My three goal in life are to get in the college of my choice, go skydiving and to get a well paying job. These three goals are important to me because they are what I am likely to achieve within the next ten years. As I grow and blossom into someone big, someone bigger than who I am today I don’t mean just physically but bigger intellectually, and more capable. These goals show me that if I want to achieve them, then I have to work hard to accomplish them.
It’s a weird feeling being compared to your seven-year-old sister. It’s an even weirder feeling when you’re being compared because she can run five times as long as you can.
A long time ago I moved to Denton, Texas for school, attended Texas Woman's for 4 semesters than dropped out.
Throughout my time at the University of Central Florida my educational and career goals have evolved as I’ve matured and come into my own. As a high school graduate of Timber Creek in Orange County, Florida, I always felt that I have been provided with the support to pursue anything that I set my mind to. Coming from a musical theatre background, I originally believed my calling was to be on Broadway, as did every other high school drama kid; however, since the start of my education here at UCF, I have switched majors from Political Science to Finance, before I went to Economics, followed by a degree in Art, finally leading me to where I am today: a student of English Literature. I am now about to complete my second year in a program that I could not be happier in, and plan to graduate by the end of 2019. I have felt confident and prepared going into each course because my passion for literature and the study of English language has propelled my knowledge far beyond what I could ever have imagined.
Throughout my educational career, I gained the teaching of 32 magnificent teachers, even so, just two ever genuinely inspired my work, and strived to know my being as an equal, as a fellow. I have always attained the status amongst exceptional students, and time was on my side, it seemed, when I met one of the utmost inspirational teachers I have had the tremendous pleasure of learning from, Mrs. Leah Tucker, my art teacher, who taught me not only who artists were, or how to draw or paint, for three stupendous years of my schooling career; suddenly 8th grade came around, I was acquainted with Mr. Bevis, who has the probability of being one of the best English teachers, and inspirations I may ever have. Fortunately, bits of both of their teachings

I always wanted to go to college growing up, but because my family, along with my sisters and myself, we born and raised back in a refugee camp in Nepal. The school in which I started my schooling was also in a refugee camp. We didn’t have enough financial help to have all the things that we needed. We had to depend upon the support we got from the agencies. When we arrived in the United States, we got a lot of assistance from different agencies. I also got chance to attend school again. But, my family is composed of five members. My parents have to look after the education of the three of us. They do not have a lot monetary resources to fulfill my desire to go to college. I had nagging feeling that college was a dream that won't come true

The pursuit of happiness can be achieved in many ways and people mostly associate happiness with getting everything they could dream of. It is possible to achieve happiness just from the desire of our dreams, because it give you something to look forward to. If there is a desire for something, it gives a feeling of excitement and a strive to work towards something you want. On the contrary, having everything someone would want seems unrealistic and a desire for everyone, so if it happened it seems it would be a dream come true, but maybe overtime it would not be so great afterall.
The pursuit of attending college has been a personal desire and goal for as long as I can remember. While maintaining a rigorous academic course load, I also had a passion for excelling in my music endeavors. My superior GPA and yearly testing scores broadened my career choices but made it difficult to discern whether I wanted to pursue something in the field of medicine, education, or music. The academics, experiences, and activities that I have been involved with throughout my life, definitely have shaped and encouraged me to think deeper about what it is that I would truly love to excel in on the college level and pursue as a life-long career.
