I have many goals for 2017, but three are more important to me than the others. This year, I would like to work to make more accurate shots in basketball, so that I can make the traveling team next week, or perhaps next year. I need to become superior with singing my song I will perform in this year’s play. I can also have stunning grades if I can get into the habit of asking exactly what we are supposed to do for assignments in class. By working to achieve these goals, I can compete with myself to become the best I can possibly be. By completing these goals in 2017, I can also be more prepared for college. As H. If I want to obtain a place in the college I may want to go to in the future, I need to be better at this. A habit takes 30 days to form, as Sean Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens points out. For the next 30 days, I need to remember to read the assignment prompt carefully, and then reread it. I should bear in mind that if I have questions about any project or learning activity I have to do, I need to ask a teacher, so I can do my assignments correctly and get the best grades I can possibly achieve. This quote says that if you wish to be the most successful you can be, you are able to achieve it. With the goals I have for this year, I can attempt to be better, and I will succeed. I will become the best I can be in basketball, and perfect my performance piece for the school musical. If I work towards it, I can get into the habit of double-checking what I have to do in school, and hopefully get into whatever college I will want to go into when I graduate from high school. “You combine hard work, creativity, and self-determination, and things start to happen,” Sophia Amoruso once stated.
