We all have the opportunity to be happy, what we do with that opportunity is on us. We all face challenges, some more difficult than others but there does come a point in our lives where we have to choose.. We have to make the decision to take the opportunity of happiness or to not. We all given them opportunity even if it might not seem so. If a person is in a healthy environment, has an appropriate attitude and has love in their life, they have the opportunity to be happy.
I thought that it took having things like a big house, or a really nice car to be happy. But from what I have learned this semester in English, that is no longer the case. From reading the books Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s nest by Ken Kesey, and watching The Pursuit of Happyness if people enjoy what they are doing with their life, they will be happy.
Happiness is an emotion. It is to be free, to laugh, to enjoy the little things in life, and to love. Happiness is not something
We all have the opportunity to be happy, what we do with that opportunity is on us. We all face challenges, some more difficult than others. The challenges the experiences as awful or as amazing as they may be, they do not define us. Those experiences may have an effect on our happiness but in the end we decide. Every single person decides. We have to make the decision to take the opportunity of happiness or to not. If a person is in a healthy environment, has an appropriate attitude and has love in their life, they have the opportunity to be happy.
Happiness can come in a wide variety of things. Different things make different people happy. Seeing a cute dog can make me happy for a moment. Do we long to be happy one day at a time or are we longing to know we will never be sad? Assume every person on the planet has had their happy moments, there is always a deterrent. Always the next moment that can be taken in any direction and if you have experienced emotions then it is known. People may long to be happy but. I think no one can ever be one hundred percent happy for their whole life, but I think people can be content. There will always be moments that are not happy moments but there will always be another moment that can bring joy. I believe you can be happy with your life, even with those moments of other emotion. One of the main things that I want in life is happiness. What can make me happy are many different things. Goals, goals, goals they're what people think about and how they are going to achieve them in the future. My three goal in life are to get in the college of my choice, go skydiving and to get a well paying job. These three goals are important to me because they are what I am likely to achieve within the next ten years. As I grow and blossom into someone big, someone bigger than who I am today I don’t mean just physically but bigger intellectually, and more capable. These goals show me that if I want to achieve them, then I have to work hard to accomplish them.
What is happiness? A feeling or euphoria or a feeling of accomplishment, perhaps both? Is happiness something we can create or something that appears to us when we need it most? I feel that happiness is something that is unique to each person. What fills me with inner joy might not for others and vice versa. Happiness is subjective, but one thing I think everyone will find is that a part of their happiness is found in growing as a person. Life begins at the end of your comfort zone and maybe happiness is found there too! For me, happiness is best achieved when I am growing as a person. Working through obstacles that have come up in my path, expanding my horizons through meeting new people, or learning something new in a class. I have come to see that when I push myself out of my comfort zone (physically or emotionally), this is where I find happiness.

Happiness is a key to everybodys life. Even the most depressed man on earth has a little happiness deep down inside. Its what keeps us striving to fulfil our needs and wants on an everyday basis. There is not one kid who does not get excited over a dollar to spend at the candy shop. What about the feeling of getting a promotion at your job, or even finding the cure for cancer. Being happy is not just healthy, but it is also rewarding for each and every individual. We strive to find anything that will turn a bad day to a good one. Individuals will compromise to attain their happiness. You can not get what you want without giving something first.
As most of my peers, I have been asking myself a question, what do I want out of my life? This question bothers many people, and not only the college students who are trying to figure out the path that will lead them to the comfortable life. One might ask, what is that comfort that we all are striving for? Is it a state of mind or is it some unknown world that we are so eager to enter. It varies from person to person; there are several aspects, such the way were raised, making, of our lives that could influence a person and the future decisions that we’ll make.
Happiness is not a strange term to us. We usually use that word to express our feelings in every day. Additionally, more than a word, “happiness” is what we really need and always seek in life. However, finding and understanding deeply its meaning is not easy. The online dictionary, “vocabulary.com” defines, “Happiness is a sense of well-being, joy, or contentment. When people are successful, or safe, or lucky, they feel happiness.” Thus, we always wonder if we are happy or how could we be happier in our life. Happiness, therefore, becomes a goal for everybody.
Education is something that is often taken for granted. The pursuit of learning is not always met with energy and excitement and I have understood the challenges that school can bring. The challenging parts of school, however, are necessary to personal growth. Throughout my years of schooling through middle school and through high school I noticed how I would sometimes have to push myself harder than other people to be on the same level as others, and would often become frustrated in my efforts. As I have graduated and aspire to become a doctor, I have realized how important frustration and struggle is to education.
Coming from a world where competition is everything, it can be hard to figure what I want with my life. Students are told that education is everything, that we need to go to college to be successful. I have been told by my family that I need to aspire for greatness. My father and mother immigrated to the United States before I was born; looking for a better life. My parents struggled with understanding a new language, while also attempting to find work. In order to help my parents I must attend college and get a stable job.
My whole life I have always wanted to become a successful engineer, and graduate from the University of Cincinnati. Some of my goals in life are to go to the University of Cincinnati.
