My life revolves around doing work that is rewarding. If I didn't do work that was rewarding, I don't think I would be at what I consider one of the highest points in my life. I feel there is no purpose if there is no reward. But it was not always that I thought this. It took a bit in my life to realize this. But it started in a place I never thought it would be ; on a farm.

My drive to work is what started what would change my life. When I was fourteen, I was frustrated that the only time I could get money was by asking my mom which usually resulted her saying no. Then, one spring afternoon, my mom brung home an application for a summer job for youth. Instantly I rejected the application because I saw it had to do with farming. Weeks later, I realized again that I hated not having a source of money other than asking my mom who had always said no when I asked. So I reconsidered the application and ended up applying be a crew worker in "The Food Project." I had no idea that this would be the greatest choice of my youth.

In the summer of 2011, I started The Food Project and with complete ignorance to what I would be doing. All that had mattered to me was receiving a paycheck after every 2 weeks. I had no idea The Food Project's motives were to assist my growth and transform me
