Like many licensors, the College Licensing Company has an established background and history representing reputable entities. Our goal to obtain a license to use collegiate marks on our product of neck pillows and travel blankets will still require due diligence on our behalf. Many of our due diligence / background questions will focus on how the partnership would work instead of searching for areas such as financial stability. Below is a brief background of the College Licensing Company which supports our notion that our due diligence background will focus on how and where the partnership will work.

In the process of developing a licensing program for Coach Bryant, Battle discovered that The University of Alabama did not have a licensing program. Alabama soon signed on as CLC's first university client. Eight other schools quickly followed, and an industry was
In 1937, Meridian Community College (MCC) was founded as a part of Meridian High School in the local school system. In 1965, the College also formerly known as Meridian Junior College moved from its original location to its present location. In 1970, the College merged with the historically T.J. Harris Junior College according to a federal court order to the Meridian Municipal Separate School System. There were more than 400 students and faculty joined the MJC campus. In 1980, Meridian Junior College established its own district and Board of Trustees. In 1987, the College officially changed its name to Meridian Community College to reflect its mission and the diversity it provides to a growing community (http://www.meridiancc.edu/Assets/1pdfs/catalog/MCC_Catalog_2015-2016_Book.pdf).
The legal dispute between the National Football League’s Seattle Seahawks and Texas A&M University over the exploitation of the slogan “12th Man” is not only a respectable example of the significance of brand loyalty, but it is also an important case that proves the importance of having a strong brand equity. Both sport organizations take considerable pride in their supporters and fans, who they realize is the backbone of their success as an organization/ corporation. Texas A&M University’s claim over the use of the phrase “12th Man” was arguable but they stood their ground when the Seahawks defied the University’s letter to discontinue their usage of the phrase. The TAMU Vice President for Communications was protected under the Federal Trademark Act of 1946, which had the purpose of defending the right of the owner to protect the mark that symbolizes their respective organization. The case between the two warring sport properties (which was ultimately settled out of court) proved the importance of brand equity and the benefits of it as well—one major benefit being the licensing and merchandising opportunities to sell to other organizations. In exchange for the Seahawks to use the 12th man trademark, they had to pay a $100,000 licensing fee plus, publicly
On May 30, 2000 The Calvin Klein family filed a lawsuit against Warnaco Group Inc for eighteen counts of trademark infringement, trademark dilution and intentional misrepresentation. Nearly a month later Warnaco answered with a counter suit, denying the major allegations and justifying the dilution to falling within the scope of the two parities licensing agreement. The case study brings forth information regarding fashion retailing, distribution practices and even the licensing practices expected within the marketplace, however as a reader one should keep in mind that during the millennium “licensing

A proposed creation of the Public College Quality Compact, a fund to encourage states to reinvest in postsecondary education. In addition to other requirements, states that wish to participate in the fund would be required to create reliable funding streams to public colleges and universities that provide a least as much as the maximum Pell Grant per student in support. Ensuring that states make reliable investments in their citizens will mean that college education is affordable for low income students who pursue their

I never will understand this day to the fair and what all happened, I don’t think anyone will. I just know that one animal ruined a month for me. It was the week right before fair, and all I did was walk my cow. It was the first time ever showing a cow, my brother convinced me that it would be a fun learning experience. That didn’t happen at all for me when I walked into that show ring with a 1,100 pound steer. I was up at 4:00 a.m. the morning of the show, and I was ready to go wash my cows and get them ready for the show.
I guess this would depend on what type of licensing or certification you are referring to. Is this healthcare licenses needed for clinical staff, information technology licenses, or a more specific HIT licensing? Individuals in the HIT industry come from a variety of backgrounds. Some individuals, such as myself, come from a clinical background which may require licenses or certification to practice. Licensing demonstrates that these individuals have clinical knowledge that can be invaluable in the design, development, validation, education and deployment of these systems since they understand the workflows and processes used to provide patient care. Therefore, these licenses should be maintained, often requiring continuing education, even if an individual works in a non-clinical area.
1. I do not support using continuing education programs solely as the basis for license renewal. I believe that continuing education should only be the beginning for the basis for license renewal. I think to have your licenses renewal there should be other requirements. I believe a mental health professional should have to see a therapist at least five times a year before getting their license renewed. The helping profession needs to make sure others in the mental health profession are still sane and competent. I believe along with continuing education programs there should be training before practicing new areas or techniques.
The two licensing segments that interest me are collegiate licensing and professional licensing. There are many colleges and universities that have some of the most loyal and passionate fans in the world (CLC, 2016) and they will remain loyal no matter how a team’s record stands. A lot of college fans will purchase shirts, hats, jerseys, banners, and much more different types of merchandise to support their favorite college teams, which the licensing representative for the NCAA is the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) (NCAA, 2016). The NCAA owns all the trademarks and logos of teams so they make it easier for individuals and companies to obtain a license directly from the CLC.
The following case analysis will assess Coach Inc. and its strategy in the accessible luxury brand goods market. The coach strategy focuses on its luxury rivals in matching key quality styles while offering it at a cheaper price. The company offers most products at a 50% off discount price less than other brands which gives them a competitive advantage pertaining to its customer base. Coach marketed its products to middle –income consumers desiring taste of luxury, but also affluent and wealthy consumers with means to spend considerably more on a handbag (Gamble, 2012. P.C-73) .The Company also has several other strategies such as to increase global distribution, improve same store sales productivity and continue its multi-channel business model which includes indirect whole sales to third party retailers but also focuses on direct consumer sales. Coach has done well in the luxury goods industry but the companies profit margin is still below the levels achieved prior to the onset of a slowing economy in 2007 ( Gamble, 2012. P.C-73.The Company had experienced a decline in sales as they are unsure if the company recent growth could remain constant and maintain their competitive advantage with other successful luxury lines Michael Kors, Salvatore Ferragamo, Prada and Dolce & Gabbana.

Students who earned a credential by passing a certification or licensure examination may have earned up to two student-selected verified credits to meet graduation requirements in addition, provided the opportunity to earn student-selected verified credits. There is a State University video and it seems cool. It offers a lot of majors and the school is nearby the house. One time he visited the school and has a tour with his parents. There is one tour guide that assist them to the whole University and it seems that he doesn’t know what he’s doing and they wasn’t able to complete the tour. And when they go to the gigantic lecture hall the lights are off and the tour guide can’t find the switch to turn the
