Through serving Americorps I would have the opportunity to volunteer and serve in multiple cities throughout the United States. However, even though I am aware that I have the opportunity to leave Buffalo, and travel to another city or states for a new adventure I decided to devote my year of service to my hometown of Buffalo, New York.
