Most of us are familiar with these global terms “American dream” and “drugs cartels”. These thoughts exemplify one the differences between United States of America and Colombia. Despite United States of America and Colombia are located in the same hemisphere significant differences in food, natural resources and tourist attractions make each country quite distinct from the other.

Colombia is a tropical country where you can find during all year a enormous variety of fruits and vegetables. This is one of the reasons whereby people eat healthy. In contrast, the United States has seasons, their crops just produce season’s vegetables and fruits. Instead of fruits and vegetables, the supermarkets offer frozen food, you can prepare it faster without complications. Additionally, in the United States sodas are offered in every place and the restaurants refill them for free.

Colombia is a country with many city, Bogota, being the capital of Colombia. Colombia has approximately 47.12 million people living there since 2013, with many more to come. Most population in Colombia are Latinos, we speak fluent Spanish, as there first leagues. There are other leagues but Spanish is the top one.

Colombia’s average salary per month is $692. In 2014, the average monthly income was $578. The National Department of Administrative Statistics in Colombia informed that there has been an increase of 7.6% from 2013 at $537. In a family of four, the monthly income was around $2,313. If the family lived in the capital or town, the income was of $2721 however if the family lived in rural areas, the income was of $960.

Sport is one of the most important factors in the development of a country and a culture. In Colombia, there are a wide variety of sports, not only official, but also traditional and cultural those have been practiced since the Colombian ancestors implemented those in the society. Colombia is considered the third sports power in Latin America behind Brazil and Cuba, as well as the fifth Pan-American level behind United States, Canada, Cuba and Brazil. He is elected for a four-year term by a national vote. The current president is Juan Manuel Santos. Congress contains the Senate and The House of Representatives. You have to be at least eighteen to be able to vote.

This neighborhood is located in the center of the city. Bogotá is the capital of Colombia and where everyone acts very similar and has the same customs and culture. Bogotá has the perfect climate because e it is located near the equator and it is located in the perfect altitude: 2,600 meters above sea level. It is also located in the savanna of Bogotá, where the land is fertile and it has a lot of beautiful vegetation around it. There is great food, beautiful
